Here on NarutoBase we have a lot of people who claim to be, and often hyped to be, really smart. So, why not have a tournament that flexes these brain muscles a bit? Basically, this would be a chess tournament set up every, let's say, 6 months, so it'd be held twice a year.
The tournament, after members have signed up for it, shall have a bracket.
Once each person has their opponent in the bracket, they will play chess on a multiplayer platform, namely, this website:
The names of all those who applied will be entered on an online bracket generator.
The name that appears first for each match-up in the bracket will create the game, therefore, the first name in the match-up for the bracket will always be the white player. Before he does this, he will get in contact with his opponent, and determine when is the best time for BOTH of them to play.The players, or the host of the tournament, will decide if there is a time limit or not, and if there is, which time limit will apply.
Once both members have completed the game, and there is a winner, he will provide proof of his victory, a screenshot of the screen saying he has won. If a player has to leave prematurely, The host/judge will determine, from the player's reason for leaving, if a rematch is in order. If a reason is not given within 24 hours, if a member rage quits, or a member behaves disorderly IN THE TOURNAMENT, he is disqualified and his opponent moves on.
Prizes could include the usual prizes for a contest, including a medal, name change, larger avatar, and since this is a special tournament, a name color other than the usual cyan.
Or, it could simply be a free Premium subscription for a month, or one or the other and the user will choose which he'd prefer.
