So I've been thinking a lot about where the Naruto spin-offs could go plot-wise. It seems like everything Bolt could handle, his dad already took care of in the main series. Then I recalled the most iconic anime of all time: Dragonball Z.

Remember old school Dragonball?

No. Of course you don't. Nobody does.

But in the original Dragonball, there were no mention whatsoever of saiyans. It was just martial arts and magic with a little sci-fi thrown in. At the end, Goku killed King Piccolo, he and Chi Chi got hitched, everybody lived happily ever after and the show ended.

Except, Shonen Jump was like "F**K that," and told Toriyama to continue the series. So, out of F**king nowhere, he gave Goku a brother named Raditz, and revealed that they were both members of an alien-warrior race called the saiyans. Also these saiyans are so strong they make every other threat to the human race look like a piss in the wind in comparison.

So if push comes to shove, Kishi could always go that route. I mean, we never did get to hear Minato's backstory. Or even who his family was, for that matter. Seems like a suspicious thing for Kishi to just forget about.

...kinda like how he forgot about Bolt's and Himawari's Byakugans.

That would be waaaaaay far fetched. Direct link to aliens? Ancestral maybe but not Minato Saiyan lel

DB was a good set up for dbz. The whole baby found in the forest thing was too mysterious and the perfect set up for raditz. I preferred DB because of the reasons you mentioned.

Part 3 Naruto should focus on the challenges of ninja living in a modern work and forget the bs power levels.

Actually it was hinted many times that Goku was not human during the original series since ep.1

Everybody that has seen him in action always said something along the lines of "That's no ordinary boy" or "That kid's not human!"

Also, I would think that the fact that he
1. Was found in a forest
2. Was found in the forest with the tail
and 3. Turns into an OP psychopathic ape whenever he looks at the full moon
would be a dead giveaway that he ain't human

I'm not saying I would like that...but I'm not saying I wouldn't like that either.

I mean, what if Kaguya's race (they never mentioned where she came from, she could be Kryptonian for all we know) came for revenge or something along the lines of that? It's unlikely, but still possible.

I thought that was normal for the human race? lol

Good point, I would love it if Kishimoto gave his series some kind of twist like that...

Like maybe an alternate time line, and non curse of hatred Indora shows up, maybe using some jutsu, because he doesn't want to see himself go curse of hatred (somehow he just decided to go to the future and it some how changes his past from going curse of hatred) or something and end ups staying in that time line with Ashura and their current incarnations, (Naruto is then forced to live with himself, Ashura,) and it alters something in the current universe... something out of the blue like that would be cool...

Or they somehow literally are put in a world like ours, something like, Naruto lost in America or something, you never know? Kishimoto could do anything in his manga

All that could have been explained with magic. The end boss of the series was a green dictator who conquered the world and gave birth by spitting an egg out of his mouth. A kid who turns into a giant monkey during a full moon ain't that strange.

Oh, and Piccolo also turned out to be an alien. Toriyama just shrugged and made most of the DBZ cast aliens.
