Sorry it took me a while, I was dealing with a situation earlier on, but that's all in the past now. Just like I promised in chapter one, I would upload this today. Now then let's get right to it.

Chapter 2: Darkness Rises
The sage after giving his heart-felted speech to the people of the world, departed back to his home, the Samsara temple. He couldn't help but notice someone was following him.
SO6P: So, what's your business with me?
???: Come now, you won't even address me with a hello first?
SO6P: I can sense a lot of evil within you, who are you?
???: Hmm hmm hmm...
The sage thought to himself, and tried to make sense out of the situation.
SO6P: (thinking)Something's wrong. I can feel something deep within this man, he's strong. I must stop him, but.... what am I feeling? It feels like I- I think I know him. (Speaks) I'll ask you one more time, WHO are you?
???: Hahahahaha, my my.... This is very amusing. I know you all too well, yet you recognize me, almost not at all. You're not the only sage in this world, and if you think the ten-tail juubi is fearsome, you don't know what fear is, Rikudo Sennin. Call me, the Dark One.
SO6P: Dark One?
The Dark One: (thinking) Rikudo has gotten stronger since.... that time. I may not have what it takes to beat him at the moment, if he was able to stop the juubi, I may have a real fight on my hands.
The sage of the six paths held his staff firmly in his hand. He held his other hand up. It flared with a red aura, his other hand, which held his staff, flared with a blue aura. The Dark One also got in a fighting position, he was covered in a dark black aura.
In a matter of seconds they both flew at each other in incredible speed, The sage swiped his staff at the dark figure, while with his other hand, he blasted a mega fireball at him. The dark one backed up, and rose his hands in the air, his dark powers stabilized and shot up, causing the earth to shake and crumble, then spikes started popping up everywhere, the sage hopped around, dodging every one of them.
The dark one then shot out a dark voodoo ball at the sage, who blocked it with the rinnegan's barrier. (like nagato did in amagakure when he was young)
The sage then threw a barrage of knives at the figure, teleported instantly above him, then his hand, covered with fire, he used a fire style rasengan varient jutsu, it blasted him deep into the ground in a blaze of glory.
SO6P: With this, you have been defeated... what?
The sage looked below to see that his hand only touched the robed cloak. He looked up to see the figure flying down from the sky, the sage looked to get a clear image of him. He had fairly long black and gray hair, he wore spiked armor, he had a skull mask on, hiding his face with what it seemed like black smoke oozing out from the eyes. He had a sword on his back, a sword on the side of his waist, and the last notable detail, was a bright red yinyang symbol on his belt, why it was glowing, the sage had no idea.
The Dark One: That fire explosion attack was impressive, you've been taught well as a boy.
SO6P: Che...
The Sage held out his arms, then they transformed into 5 tails on each side, all spiked. He grew a lot bigger, his eyes became one and 9 tomoes appeared on it, he transformed into the juubi itself.
The Dark One: Ahh, so now you come out eh? It seems you know so much, Rikudo Sennin... but there's still so much, for you to learn....
The Dark One gathered half of his power and a super dark energy ball was formed, it then radiated with a white aura. As the Juubi/Sage attacked him, the dark one blasted the ball towards the beast, it suddenly petrified the juubi.
The Dark One: Ha hah.
SO6P: What is this?
The sage transformed back, he was confused, wondering why he couldn't use the juubi's power anymore.
SO6P: What have you done?
The Dark One: Come now Rikudo Sennin, The ten-tails is not ALL powerful, even it has a weakness. After all, hmm hmm hmm.... I created it MYSELF!
SO6P: WHAT?
The Dark One: Haha HAHAHAHAHA!
SO6P: Just who....are you?
The Dark One walked over to pick up his cloak, he threw it on, hiding his full appearance once again. He mumbled to himself so the sage wouldn't hear him.
The Dark One: (mumbling) I'm sorry, Rikudo, but you're way is wrong. I know you're a good hero, you proved it to me once before.....that time. But now, I just can't let you interfere, I'm sorry.
SO6P: ..... huh, where are you going?
The Dark One: It's time for me to leave, your power is amazing, I sense one day in the future there will be a man, who will be called, the strongest in the world. He will know, TRUE power. I believe he will be the TRUE harbinger of peace.... hahahah, I SHALL see to that.
SO6P: What are you planning?
The Dark One vanished, leaving only a sinister laugh. Many years later, The sage grew old, split the bijuu into several parts of the world, he was at his death bed.
SO6P: My sons, you both have grown into very fine young men. I hope that my decision on who I choose will be the right one.
Elder Son: Father, You were praised as a god, that means you have authority over this world, it is your might and power which instills order. Please choose me, I believe with my might, peace will be ensured forever.
Younger Son: No father, my brother is wrong. Might leads to arrogance, arrogance leads to corruption, and corruption only leads to the darkness. In order to lead peace, one must know and understand another. We must all show affection to each other. My dear father, Love is the key to peace, I ask you to entrust me as your successor.
Elder Son: (looking over) Rrrgh...
SO6P: My boys, both of you have proven yourselves worthy to my role. However I must choose one, but first...
The sage, very weaken because of age, split his power into the boys. He felt his older son should possess the power of the spiritual energy, thus he has the "eyes". He felt his younger son should possess the physical energy, thus he possesses the "body's" power.
SO6P: My successor, will be you, my younger son.
Elder Son: WHAT? Father, think this through!
Younger Son: I will not fail you, as your son, peace will be carried out for years to come.
How sad that it couldn't be as the younger son claimed.. over the years the two brothers fought against one another, generations went by and over time, it almost appeared like fate or destiny, but the two sons, would "seemingly" reincarnate into the world, The Dark One who previously fought the sage, has lived through the generations and now, only now he has finally caught glimpse of the man he was sure of that would instill peace... The decendent of the younger son......Hashirama Senju!
Well that's chapter two, this may have been a little long, but again, my first story so, I'm trying here, leave a comment, feedback, did you like it, was it a waste of your time. Just let me know, alright, peace!
