Shouldn't naruto be able to use mokuton now even without hashiramas DNA?
I mean he is pretty much the same person as hashirama since he's ashura's incarnation. Also, the theory is that since he has portions of all the bijuus chakra he can use all chakra nature/types. I think it's possible but who knows.

No. wood release is hashirama's KKG not ashura's. Naruto and hashirama only inherited ashura's chakra, they are not vessels for ashura's soul. Naruto, hashirama and ashura are completely different from one another. In terms of personality and special abilities.

I dunno... I think you need Hashirama's direct DNA for mokuton, as it was basically his own original power if I recall correctly? Call me out if I'm wrong by all means.

I kind of hope he doesn't get it. I can understand how he's got the other KKG's from the tailed beasts, but none of them have Mokuton so it would be kind of annoying if he uses it.

i think he can but i hope kishi doesn't give him this power, the power is strong but it's getting used to much an getting boring, i hope kishi would naruto something like a combination of water and wind maybie he be able to make water sprout or tornados

I understand it's a kekkei genkai, but I feel like with the power naruto has now, he should be able to combine earth and water to get wood style. He said like three times that he feels like he can do anything now.

It was Ashura's chakra that made Hashirama's Mokuton so powerful. But Mokuton is an ability unique to Hashi (or anyone with his DNA), and is not gained by having Ashura's chakra.

I don't think that matters now though. Lava release is kekkei genkai, but Naruto can use it now anyways. I think all of the bijju have multiple chakra nature types or kekkei genkai's, we just haven't seen them. If they didn't then the jinchuuriki of the ten tails or all the bijju together wouldn't be able to use yin/yang aka that black chakra mass.
