Naruto won't gain Kyuubi Yin Chakra
I know there have been a lot of talk about Naruto gaining the Kyuubi yin chakra. That's understandable. Kyuubi did tell Gaara that giving Naruto the Yin chakra would save him, but I still don’t think he will gain the Yin chakra. I believe Naruto days as a jinchuriki are over. It's time Naruto moved on and finished developing in other area. FRS, sage mode, chakra scene, and chakra transfer where just the beginning.
Reasons why Naruto won't gain Kyuubi yin charka
1 - I don't see any major benefits to Naruto having Kyuubi yin chakra. During the war Kyuubi ran out of yang chakra and borrowed some of Kyuubi yin chakra. We saw no difference between Yin chakra mode Naruto and Yang chakra mode Naruto. I'm not saying that there are no benefits to having the Yin chakra. I just believe Naruto will gain any major benefits because he is a yang type. We all should know that Naruto's next power up will put him on a higher level than his last power up.
2 - Naruto is not a Yin type. Naruto is a yang type and his character has always been associated with yang. That won't change. Naruto and Sasuke are the opposite and Sasuke is the yin type between the two.
3 - Making Naruto into another jinchuriki will leave him vulnerable to Madara extraction jutsu (again). Yes, Naruto might have some of the tail beast charka inside his body, but that doesn't make him a jinchuriki. Sealing the other half of Kyuubi inside his body will make him a jinchuriki and that could put him back into the exact same situation he is currently in. Naruto is better off not having to worry about that weakness.
I know some people might believe Madara can't extract a tail beast out of a jinchuriki anymore because he has already sealed the 10 tail beast inside himself, but I disagree. I thing he can still unleash the 10 tail beast and use the 10 tail beast to extract a tail beast. Even after Obito sealed the 10 tail beast inside himself he was still about to unleash the 10 tail beast.
4 - Naruto wants to free the tail beast. If half of Kyuubi is sealed inside Naruto than he can never truly free all of the tail beast. By having Naruto lose Kyuubi now Kishi doesn't have to worry about that later on. Besides Kyuubi needs to be made whole again. I believe Madara will gain Kyuubi Yin half and make Kyuubi whole.
5 - Sealing the Kyuubi yin chakra inside Naruto is not the only way to save him. Gaara was saved a different way. Chiyo saved Gaara by transferring her life force and chakra into Gaara. Naruto is heading towards Minato who knows how to transfer chakra and/or life force. I'm not sure how Naruto will be save, but I think Kishi will have Obito sacrifice himself to save Naruto. That would help Obito redeem himself.
Reason behind Naruto meeting his father
If what I said is true and Kishi doesn't plan on Naruto gaining Kyuubi yin chakra than why tell Gaara to give Naruto the yin half. Simple, to allow Madara to gain the yin half and complete the Kyuubi
We know an edo can't become a true jinchuriki. (Yes, I know edo can be jinchuriki, but that only occurs if the tail beast is seal inside a person before they become an edo) I don't believe an edo jinchuriki can have a tail beast extracted. If that is true then the only way a edo jinchuriki can have a tail beast removed is by jinchuriki releasing/opening their own seal. That means the only way Madara can get Kyuubi yin half is to wait until Minato releases the seal. Since Naruto and Madara are both heading to the same location (Naruto is going there to meet his father and Madara is going there to get the other rinnegan) that would give Madara the opportunity to gain Kyuubi yin chakra.
Example of how it could occur: Naruto arrives at this father's location first since they left before Madara. Gaara tells Minato what Kyuubi yang half told him. Right after Minato releases Kyuubi yin half Madara arrives and takes the Kyuubi yin half before Minato can give it to Naruto.
Naruto's future power
Now the question is what power up will Naruto gain if he doesn't get Kyuubi yin chakra.
Answer: Uzumaki powers and Sage mode.
1 - Uzumaki powers. The Uzumaki are a powerfully clan. They possess sealing jutsu, chakra chain, strong bodies (perfect tail beast host), powerful life force and mask/ability to summon different spirits. I believe Naruto will unlock the rest of his Uzumaki powers like Karin unlocked her Uzumaki powers during the lasting chapter.
The reason Naruto hasn't displayed his full Uzumaki powers is because of Kyuubi. Thanks to Kyuubi Naruto didn't have parents to train/teach him about his clan. I believe Kyuubi is interfering his Uzumaki powers by stopping it from fully activating. We know for fact Kyuubi makes it harder for Naruto to control his chakra.
2 - Sage mode. I'm talking about Frog Fu. The ability to use natural energy directly without needing to add it to chakra. That ability allows Naruto to attack a person directly with natural energy. Kabuto can use that ability too, but in a different way. Kabuto uses it to bring inanimate objects to life. If Naruto increases his skill in frog fu and learn Kabuto's way of using natural energy he will be almost unstoppable with that power allow.
Think about it. Naruto being able to frog fu in ways that mirror Pain's repel jutsu and being able to bring inanimate objects to life. Naruto would be able to turn his entire environment into a weapon. Madara hasn't showed that ability. If he doesn't have that ability than Naruto's sage mode will have an edge over Madara's sage mode.
PS. I also believe Naruto will somehow achieve the sage body. I'm not sure how is going to do that, but he is a descendant of SO6P younger son.
