I know and I said that there was some credence within that statement. Naruto was powerless against Sasuke without Kurama and was staggered by Sasuke's tremendous growth in power, therefore, there is some justification for their argument. With that being said, it's rather explicit given the scope of this thread, everyone was referring to Naruto without Kurama.

Again Naruto was not out to kill Sasuke. I would have ignored their post had they compared only VoTE 1 Sasuke with Naruto without Kurama but the comparison was in general. And Naruto without Kurama isn't powerless as some people are trying to prove here. He could've summoned Bunta. Now I know some individuals are claiming that he can't summon Bunta without Kurama's chakra but they're ignoring the fact that Kurama was the reason for Naruto's ****ed up chakra control. With Kurama out of the picture his chakra control would be much better and he'd be able to summon Gamabunta. Ofc Bunta won't kill Sasuke but he's sure to put an end to the fight.

Even without it, who the hell cares when your response to begin with was impertinent to the discussion?

I don't think Naruto would be at the necessary level to summon Bunta by himself. Remember, Orochimaru put the 5 pronged seal over his 8 tetragram seal. That is what messed up Naruto's CC. Without Kurama he lacked the amount of chakra needed. He'd have other lower teir toads but not the giant macdaddy.

Without kurama,Naruto has better chakra control,and even then,he stiol has a chakra capacity 4 times larger than Kakashi's...i dont see why he cant summon gamabunta.

Part 2 Naruto had about 4 times the amount of early Part 2 Kakashi. Chakra mature insanely quickly, and we know that. As someone can easily double their chakra output during puberty. Naruto during the fight at the end of Part 1 would barely have twice the amount Kakashi had in Part 2, if even that.

True but Jiraiya also mentioned somewhere in the chunin arc that Naruto's body needs to compensate for Kurama's chakra. So when he's not using Kurama part of his chakra goes into suppress Kurama reducing the total available chakra to him. So no Kurama means no chakra reduction and thus ability to summon Gamabunta.

As the story was about the Rivalry of two brothers, two brothers that followed the same path of want and destruction (One that didn't want to kill, and One that craved Power) for centuries. Naruto and Sasuke are the only two that admitted to be equals and ended the cycle of pain and death. No matter the type of differences of powers or strengths, that was the end goal in mind! It's basically filler-fights in between the the start and end. Every time, the useless one came back Stronger, and in the end They'd win, period. It's just the time with Naruto, he made it clear... flat out he's not about winning or killing, he wanted to change Sasuke's heart.

Yet, the question in mind, is how Naruto would fair without the Kyuubi in the VoTE pt1 fight.

Naruto without Kurama is pretty much a fodder. He wasn't able to defeat pain with it, he had to resort to the fox's power in order to beat pain. Plot no jutsu was clearly evident there.

Without borrowed powers, Naruto is top 50.

KN1 Naruto punched 3T Naruto in the face point-blank and slammed CS 3T Sasuke into a mountain whilst receiving moderate damage at most. KN1 Naruto on the other-hand, had his entire arm broken by simple slap from CS2 3T Sasuke in spite of the thick sheet of chakra that protects his entire body. It's rather explicit that CS2 3T Sasuke was superior and given that his Chidori (the inferior jutsu) stalemated KN1 Naruto's Rasengan, I'm certain Kishimoto would agree.

No it wouldn't. Sasuke still stalemated Naruto despite using a weaker jutsu.

When Sasuke and Naruto were equals at the roof-top, Naruto's Rasengan would've blazed through Chidori. At VoTE, Sasuke statemated Naruto despite this handicap meaning that the only logical conclusion as to why that is was because Sasuke grew stronger which means that he had to have surpassed Naruto and this remained consistent even with CS2 Sasuke vs. KN1 Naruto.
