This is a theory of mine, for one of my fanfics. In it, before Itachi leaves the village he decides to develop a fail safe plan to protect the village by implanting Shisui's eye entrusted to him into one of Naruto's eyes.
Anyway. We all know how basic chakra networks work. And that, basically the more chakra used, the more the chakra capacity will expand.
Thanks to Kakashi, we know that it takes alot of chakra for non-Uchiha to keep even one Sharingan active for long periods of time.
But, theoretically that's completely different for Naruto. Not only is he an Uzumaki, he is the Jinchuuriki of Kurama also. Thanks to that he already has a massive chakra supply. And it was revealed early on that thanks to Kurama, Naruto gained limited healing abilities and his chakra would restore much faster.
Now on to the Sharingan. One of it's basic abilities is that it can see chakra and how a person molds it. Theoretically, that would generally help users of chakra learn to control it better because they could actually see what they're doing right/wrong.
Now, let's move onto Naruto. Thanks to the factors of Shisui's eye draining alot of chakra, his already large chakra reserves and Kurama basically refilling his supplies rapidly.
Do you think it would be possible for Naruto's chakra supply to get any bigger because of the eye.
I'm thinking, that thanks to the eye his general chakra capacity could become as much as 30-50% of the canon counterpart. But not only that, I think thanks tot he Sharingan his chakra control would also be much better. And due to that, we come to my final point.
