Note: This is a long read, so those who are tired of reading wall of text I suggest you skip through the Summary...
First & foremost, I am not speaking about their overall strength or powers as we have yet to witness the Sage’s true potentials or Naruto’s. This subject will just be focusing on certain matters as for them being Jinchuriki’s & why I believe Naruto will surpass the SOT6P in this field.
The general idea of this thread will be discuss as follows:
• Jinchuriki Modes explanation & Obito’s current form.
• Possible Naruto’s next power-up the “BijiuSage-Mode”.
• Analysis of the Rikudou Sennin’s shortcomings & how Naruto will fill that empty hole.
Section 01. Obito’s Current Form. The “Bijiu-Chakra Mode”To start off, Jinchuriki’s had many transformations as we’ve seen in this manga. For reader’s purposes, I will itemize these forms with the following scenarios:
1. Jinchuriki Form – Every time the Jinchuriki’s used the Bijiu’s Chakra, they were entering this mode. The only problem here is that the Bijiu’s were in control over their Jinchuriki. An example of this is when Naruto transformed from “Fox Form” without him knowing what really happened.
Kin & Gin brothers also have this Kyubi Form but they were different because they do not possessed Bijui inside themselves. At any rate, we can call them “Pseudo-Jinchuriki”. Furthermore, other Jinchuriki’s such as Utakata and many others can enter this form as well. Killer Bee can also enter this form without being unconscious as he was stated to be a Perfect Jinchuriki.
Another good example of this version was Obito’s first form prior to being Jubi’s Jinchuriki.
2. Bijiu-Chakra Mode – To achieve this form, a Jinchuriki must pull the bijiu’s chakra to its body. Trap its chakra with the jinchuriki’s own & rip it out. As the jinchuriki trying to pull the bijiu’s chakra, the bijiu is trying pull the jinchuriki’s chakra as well. Killer Bee called it
Soon after Naruto acquired the Kyubi’s chakra, he entered the Bijiu-Chakra Mode.
This is the reason why I believed current Obito is in this mode as well. As we can see, he fought the Jubi in this scene. It’s all thanks’ to Rin, Obito’s strong willpower defeated the jubi & gained the control.
That finally led him to his current form, his “Bijiu-Chakra Mode”
Albeit of the fact that this mode provides Jinchuriki’s power boost, it’s important to note that different Jinchuriki’s enter different forms in this mode. Killer Bee’s appearance as he uses this mode is very different from that of Naruto’s & Minato’s. Thus, the SOT6P’s Bijiu-Chakra Mode was different from that of Obito’s or vice-versa. I believe this is how SOT6P looks when he activates his Bijiu-Chakra Mode.
Also, as we can see from the scan above, Minato’s or Naruto’s Bijiu-Chakra Form were almost the same as the SOT6P. This could be a hint to Minato’s origin or Naruto’s true relation to the Rikudou Sennin.
3. Bijiu-Mode – This is the Jinchuriki’s final & most powerful form. Theoretically, all Jinchuriki’s can achieve this form by breaking the seal. But doing so, they will entirely lose the control over their bijiu’s that could lead to their own deaths. So far, only Killer Bee & Naruto were stated to achieve this mode completely by earning their Bijiu’s cooperation, trust or respect. To make it simple, a Perfect Jinchuriki or the Jinchuriki’s who befriended their own Bijiu’s can gain access to this form.
Section 02. Foreshadowing Naruto’s Next Power-Up.
The last chapter revealed that Kurama’s other half, or his Yin part was actually sealed within Minato. The fourth could possibly enter Bijiu-Mode using the half power of Kurama or this could actually be the gift he was talking about that he will give to Naruto before going to the battlefield. Should this theory ever happen, Naruto’s Bijiu-Mode will definitely be on another level. Also, the most awaited Bijiu-Sage Mode can happen as it was revealed that Senjutsu attacks can hurt RS Obito.
Section 03. The Case of Rikudou Sennin Being Imperfect Jinchuriki of the 10-Tails
There were many incidents in the manga were I believe that the SOT6P wasn’t a Perfect Jinchuriki & I will provide some manga scans to support my claims with these matters.
I. According to Madara, the Jubi directly fired a TBB towards Naruto because it probably saw the bijiu’s inside Naruto.
II. Soon after Obito became the Jubi’s Jinchuriki or when the Jubi was still in control, he was more focus on targeting Naruto other than any shinobis in the battlefield.
III. But it seems the true reason behind the Jubi attacking Naruto was not just due to the Bijiu’s but because he sensed or saw the SOT6P reflection inside Naruto & that’s what made him really angry.
Based from this scan I came to conclusion that SOT6P failed to befriend the Jubi within him. This could also be the reason as to why he divided the Jubi in to 9 beings. He further used Chibaku Tensei to bury the physical remains of the 10-tails within the Gedo Mazo which he tossed up above the heaven, thus creating the moon.
The Jubi trying to kill Naruto when he actually saw the Rikudou inside him proved that he dislikes the Sage as his host. I even assumed that the Jubi will cooperate with Obito or whoever will be the final villain (Madara, or Sasuke) to defeat Naruto. This instance was very much the same when Kurama chose Naruto over Madara in the previous chapters.
But this is how far I think the villains can go because the only shinobi that was about to understand the Jubi is Naruto. He will be the only one that can enter Jubi-Mode or will be the only one to become the Jubi’s Perfect Jinchuriki!
Summary:

2. Naruto may gain another power upgrade by receiving Kurama’s Yin half and may enter a complete Bijiu-Mode.
3. SOT6P was an Imperfect 10-Tailed Jinchuriki, & this is how I believe Naruto will surpass him in this category.
As what Rikudou Sennin prophesied, the 9-Bijius will become one again, & someone will lead them to the right path. Naruto will be the one to befriend the Jubi & will become its first ever Perfect Jinchuriki!
