I think by that he means do it with your own strength and will, rather than when he used to get angry and the kyuubi took over or influenced him.

This was back when he could not control the kyuubi - he was a danger to everyone because of it, so he was told not to use that power.
Since then he learned to control the Kyuubi's power (see recent anime episodes).
And now Naruto is friends with Kurama
EDIT - now if you're saying that he will choose to not use Kurama (even though he can do so freely) during his fight with Sasuke, then okay (although that would be fairly stupid on Naruto's part)

but still that means kishi contradict himself by letting naruto relied on kurama power, isn't it ?
i would really like to see naruto fight sasuke with his own power without kurama help, it will be better than seeing 2 gigantic chakra shield (susano'o and BM naruto), and look more like a shinobi fight

Well that's fine - but do you think Sasuke will agree to not use Susanoo if Naruto doesn't use Kurama?
If so, it would cool I guess. Although what will happen is that both of them will beat up on each other til they are exhausted and all during the fight Naruto's talk no jutsu will slowly get through to Sasuke.

Ummm, that was forever ago. And Naruto is in sync with Kurama, so I don't think this applies anymore.

That renews my memory. By the way it was way before Kyubi was in friendly terms with Naruto and further Naruto has completed what his father and mother expected him to do.
Further without Bijuu Mode Naruto is ****ed against Sasuke's EMS.. Just open your eyes dude.

The line Naruto said to Sasuke? Well, that would apply, it really has little to do with Kurama.

well, its not necessary for naruto to beat sasuke to save him.
well then i don't really see a way for sasuke to beat current naruto with EMS

True, but Sasuke's really not one to listen to reason, so the only way for Naruto to do that is to fight him and beat some sense into him. Just look at the previous chapter, Itachi told Sasuke to calm down, but Sasuke went and charged right in.

by that i don't mean it will be all talk till the end, there will be a fight for sure, but in some point there will be a time when naruto manage to get through sasuke senses and well you know what happen if naruto manage to do that

Sage Mode could be powerful enough to break through it. But I still think Naruto will have full use of Kurama's chakra - it's his as far as I'm concerned (even though him and kurama are buddies now). I guess you could say that Kurama's chakra is as much Naruto's as Itachi's eyes are now Sasuke's :|
Hashirama had Mokuton (and a powerful one at that). Naruto does not have Mokuton.

as far as i see, the only thing that itachi eyes give to sasuke is eternal light
we never know what kishi might do to naruto, concerning the other bijuu give something to naruto, lets just conclude naruto will have a new jutsu.
