[Theory] Naruto will not choose to become Hokage

Hokage doesn't mean you have to be that intelligent shikaku was more intelligent than kakashi yet kakashi was selected to represent tsunade and one other thing is that been hokage does not mean you re the one to do every thing tsunade had shikaku help her analyse things, allied force had shikaku's help it obv you think naruto will turn down his dream of becoming hokage lol its like me saying i believe when the time comes for you to acheive something you dreamed and worked hard for in life you will eventually know you re not fit for it and turn it down.

This has all to do with Sasuke. The death of Sasuke will change Naruto completly. Its what I believe.

i think he'll have a title like the AVATAR, legend of Aang.
over sees the 5 countries. not rule them, but be more of a figure head towards the countries kind of like the sage title or something.

One of three things will happen.

1. Naruto dies, sacrificing his life to save Konoha and Sasuke from the darkness, sacrificing his dream because, as he said, "What kind of Hokage can't save even one friend. Right, Sasuke?" Naruto is chosen to be the 6th Hokage regardless of his death as an honor to Naruto, Sasuke taking up that position in place of Naruto as Naruto's equal. Sasuke spreads Naruto's story throughout the shinobi world, and at the final scene of Naruto we see two young boys with their sharingan active who Sasuke calls Naruto and Itachi.

2. Naruto and Sasuke both live, Naruto saving Sasuke from the darkness but Sasuke decides to have everyone believe he's dead, but works like Danzo did in the darkness, protecting Konoha from the dark. Naruto becomes the 6th Hokage of Konoha, fulfilling his dream and bringing the series to a conclusion.

3. Naruto and Sasuke both die, but Naruto succeeds in saving Sasuke from the darkness. Sasuke informs Naruto at that point he wishes to follow Itachi's footsteps and wants to be portrayed as a criminal. Naruto respects his wish and both exchange their final, strongest jutsu. Before Naruto dies, he's appointed Hokage and Naruto dies with a smile on his face having finally saved his best friend and accomplished his life long goal.

I also can't see Naruto as Hokage. He means a lot to the world now. He's as famous as his father now and has the recognition of all kages something not everyone can do. He's currently in the front line of the whole shinobi war. He'd be better spreading talk-no-jutsu

If he wasn't the main character, I doubt anyone would even look at him for the Hokage position but since it's his dream then I'm sure he'll become the Hokage even though he's a terrible candidate. I agree with one of the user above, Sakura even though she's one of the most annoying character to have ever exist in the since the entire manga existence past,present and future, she would become a great candidate for the role but I highly doubt she will become one unless there's going to be another nonsense where every member of the Team Kakashi will be an exact mirror to Team Hiruzen. By logic, Shikamaru would be a good choice to become the Hokage due to his intelligence. Having only strength doesn't necessarily mean that a person will become a great Hokage and since Kakashi isn't Kage level due to his small amount of chakra, I doubt he will become a good Hokage but he's probably going to be one if Tsunade dies based on plot and they decide that Naruto is too young and too immature to become the Hokage yet.
