Yep you heard me. From the latest chapters, its been hinted several times that they might not be hidden villages anymore, but instead one big nation. Kinda like the new world order, but narutoverse style xd. Therefore the hatred between villages would seize ;

If this is the case, surely there wouldnt be any kage any more infact. Also would this make the practice of ninja art useless?

I mean naruto has trained so much, now thats he's strong if the villages do unite who would he fight. Same with sasuke and the other ninjas in general

Think about it. The title "hokage" might still exist.
Look at the European Union for example it protects and seizes the countries within it from invading each other, yet they still have a variety of leaders. The Queen & David Cameron in the UK, Nicolas Sarkozy in France, for example.

I think the kages would be like the leaders of a republic. so they would represent their own "nations" and seek their interest while still working to benefit the entire new nation.

True, but in this instance you are using the EU as an example and ignoring the US. Also what you are talking about seems more like an allie formed partnership, but in this instance if seems like they want to create one big nation, like the usa

Still, to me, it doesn't seem like the intention is to create a whole new village from the current existing villages -- rather, unite them. If they're united, surely that would still stop the hatred?
