Senju are blood relatives of the uzumaki.

Obito could've awakened it even with one eye, he had a senju body with an Uchiah eye.

He just isn;t going to live long enough to reach the level needed to awaken it.

An Uchiha can push himself all the way to death, without Se nju/Uzumaki DNA, they will never awaken the Rinnegan.

The rinnegan has been used exclusively by evil bastards, and the sage who doesn't count. It's not likely that the good guy we are all meant to rout for will get the same powers as the main villains. This also applies the becoming the juubi jinchuuriki, and sasuke getting senju DNA(But substitute Sage for Yamato).

Getting the rinnegan for Naruto is useless.
Only those clans that have the bloodline of Eye (such as; Uchiha, Hyuga) are suitable to use.
Example: Kakashi have Obito sharingan eye. Also he was not from eye related bloodline clan.
Kakashi have to cover his left sharingan eye if not in use. Both Madara & Obito need not cover their rinnegan eyes.
Also Danzo also need to cover all the sharingan eyes.
There is another ninja with "Hyuga eye" but not from Hyuga clan and have to cover the eye when not in use.
The issue is that in using these eyes, it need take a lot of chakra.
Itachi used most of his chakra when he put Kakashi in "hell" for days.
Same goes for Sasuke, after fighting with Danzo.
