Would be cool if he did, but it would feel cheap if he just instantly learned it, being that it takes four jonin rank ninja that learned FTG from Minato to use it correctly, so it's just to be expected that it would take a long time to learn
Naruto learned like 10 new varieties of Rasengans and no one knows when or where he learned all that so fast, he even has so many Rasengans that he doesn't even use them anymore.

Sasuke achieved his goals in a much better way than Naruto did, atleast we saw Sasuke train once in while.
Sasuke has never solo'd Naruto. Plus main characters have to be defeated sometimes so they can grow stronger. I have yet to read a manga where the main character is never defeated.
That's the problem then, you only read overhyped manga, let me guess: Bleach, One Piece, Naruto and perhaps Fairy Tail? Yes, if you're going to be that close minded than of course have you never seen a main character get beaten.
