You don't just blow up the moon like that.. how rediculous was that when piccolo did that.. they where all trembling in fear cause vegeta could destroy a planet (if he even could do that at that time, i can't remember) but piccolo blows up the moon from earth-moon distance like it's nothing and his energy thingy that destroyed it arrived within 1 second.. some utter bullshit.. also doesn't the moon have a role in naruto on the planet?

If he does that it' ll probably look like that the moon is just a small ball hanging 10 meters in the sky.

But, here's my point: The purpose of making Road to Ninja- Naruto the Movie, was to show us what Mugen Tsukuyomi is like... it is pretty much an indication that we won't get to see it in the main story, which means - Maddy-Obito do not succeed, which means the Moon might see more days...

I'm not scientist or anything, but I think Naruto destroying the moon would have some pretty negative effects on the narutoverse. I mean i know it's a manga...but the general rules of gravity should still apply...

The moon being gone would pretty much cause massive tidal waves would basically cause most of the earth to be covered in water?

I could see why he would need to destroy the moon to prevent Infinite Tsukuyomi (not sure if i spelled that right), but the results of that would be just as bad as everyone being caught in a worldwide genjutsu.

I know this is a manga..but damn..at least follow some of the basic rules of the real world lol

In Dragonball the moon was a chump. Don't forget the first person who blew it up was actually Roshi, with a power level of like 140.

The moon was just a large rock created by the SO6P using Chibaku Tensei in order to seal the Gedo Mazo inside of it. It has NO "life" connection to the Juubi. Once Madara freed and summoned Gedo Mazo the Moon became just a useless light reflecting rock in space. Infact destroying it could possibly the the absolute worst thing they could do. As long as it is there it is possible to re-seal it again.

I suppose if the intention is to stop Tsukuyomi then maybe, but then your still left with the issue of surviving the Juubi. In which the moon might very well be needed. Or someone with the Rinnegan to create a new one. I was under the impression the OP was saying Naruto was going to destroy the moon in order to stop/kill the Juubi. Not the Genjutsu.
