according to the reviews ive seen, it doesnt claim to be a narusaku movie and its just full of the same usual interactions between sakura and naruto they we normally get. they both do learn their own lessons, theres alot of accepting both of them have to do and its great maturity development it sounds like for both parties.

I also have read that Sakura does accept the date from naruto (shes accepted dates in the past from him, the first to discuss Sasuke disappering and then again in shippuden and she tells naruto she will go if he pays ha ha) ive seen the clip but i dont know jap so im just mentioning what the reviewers said.

Will Naruto choose Sakura? That is not something we can officially say. But there are subtle clues that Sakura loves Naruto even if she herself refuses to admit it. To notice first we'd have to go all the way back to the original Naruto before Shippuden, even when infatuated with Sasuke she showed attraction towards Naruto when he did something awesome or cool. A sign? Most likely. Perhaps however it was more of her being a die hard fangirl at heart; which by that I mean she would orgasm and squee over any cool action from guys who are halfway decent looking.

As the series went on it showed more and more that she loved Naruto, and then come Shippuden, the start of the series where Naruto first returns, she again gets all blushy and stuff until Naruto messes it up and upsets her. She even had a confession, however I am unsure if it was to get him to stop chasing sasuke and was untrue, or the truth and to get him to stop chasing Sasuke. Now, as for Naruto he has always been 'in love' with Sakura, he's wanted her and wanted to impress her for the entire series before Sasuke entered the picture. So the question comes down to whether Kishimoto would do it or not. Hopefully, not. Personally I prefer HinaRuto to Naruto/Sakura.

The significance lies in the fact that Kishimoto heavily reinforced his intended parallel between NaruSaku and MinaKushi with the film. Some of the ones seen in the movie are:
Sakura kidnapped by Tobi and chained up in the exact same manner Kushina was, Naruto putting on the kage cloak in the exact same manner Minato did his final night, Naruto saving Sakura bridal style the same way Minato did Kushina, Naruto beating Tobi with the exact same move Minato did Tobi. And then Naruto says that a kids job is to surpass his parents? Then Kishi flashbacks MinaKushi’s final night at the same time.

The painfully obvious parallels within the movie destroy previous assertions that NaruHina parallels MinaKushi. Kushina is also further shown to be similar to Sakura, losing her temper easily and punching Naruto in the very scene that she is introduced in.

agreed! i think someones blind honestly if they compare hinata to kushina or minato lol but thats my opinion...i dont see it anywhere considering both individuals are confident, intelligent, seemingly extroverted beings (minato was shy around kush, but your an introvert if you want to be president. doesnt add up or hokage...any leader position). Hinata doesnt possess any of those traits. i didnt know all that, i have just listened to alot of reviews, but i know those can be biased so until i see it myself i didnt want to make assumptions. that does make me even more excited to see the movie though! Hinata admires naruto, if she truly loves him, then she will be happy no matter what he chooses.
i love narusaku. i feel like kishi has built them up to be together from the beginning. sasuke and hinata are the perfect throwoffs in this situation.

I finally got to see the movie. That shot lasts a grand total of six frames. It was after she got kicked into the air by Menma, Naruto catches her so she can land safe. She's only smiling because she's relieved. Naruto's better, and the battles turning back in their favor. Just moments before, he was half braindead, prognosis unknown. It's a, "Hey look who's back!" moment.

It's very easy to misinterpret an image when the element of timing has been taken away from it. It's a screencapture that lasts indefinitely as a still, but it's actually really super brief in context.

It's a movie "mostly about Naruto and Sakura's relationship" ? Have you even seen it? It looked like a movie about both of them getting trapped in a genjutsu and dealing with its temptations separately in their own way. What it looked like it was mostly about was Naruto trying really hard to cope with being in a family that he knows is fake; at first resisting, then accepting, then realizing these people are not his parents and they never will be.

It's also about Sakura learning to appreciate her parents. Maybe she also learned not to talk shit about her parents around Naruto anymore because on a lonely day at home she wondered if that's what it's like for Naruto all the time. In all, the movie is about each of them learning their own lessons. Any development that happens between them is minimal or takes a back seat to the major events, so I hardly call it mostly about their relationship.

If you listened to interviews with the actors, they talk about FAMILY. FAMILY. FAMILY is an important theme in the movie. Moms and Dads. There's plenty of Sakura fighting one-on-one with Menma, but when does the battle finally end? When Mom and Dad appear to block the badguy's final attempted blow.

When everybody got home it was back to business as usual. Learning to appreciate what things are like for people is something Sakura goes through anyway in the main series. Sakura was just like she always is when she turned down a date at the end of the movie.
Sakura actually admits they were on a date, (this was the longest date ever) so that leaves it pretty open ;) stop being biased

You do guys realize that the movie has nothing to do with the actual plot ? >.>

Sakura, losing her temper easily and punching Naruto in the very scene that she is introduced in.
That's the only smilirites between kushina and sakura, the rest of kushina's personality is similar to her son.

Funny how the same folks who cry FILLER for anything that doesn't agree with them are also the same who use the movie as backup.

To a
The naruhina narusaku fans. Chillax this isn't a love story, this shouldn't even be the main focus. Kishi RARELY mentions love teams and that's good for him because its not an important topic in the series right now

Although I've been a narusaku fan for the past 3 years. I don't even know where he'll lead.
And guys just to clear this out. Hinatas is very very very shy. Mean while Kushina was very aggressive and hot headed.
I'm gonna stop taking there.

Yeah he will. NaruHina is just an illusion.

Funny how some folks thinks that i am in denial....sad, but true

people deny that Sakura can’t move on with her feelings because it’s convenient for them, they also say that they act like Naruto is the only one who can move on with his feelings, but I think they are also doing the same, aren’t they? They act like Naruto can’t move on from the crush he had on Sakura, and that Sakura is the only one who seems to have changed her feelings.

Don't worry I was agreeing with you, just adding to what you were saying. It was just that earlier someone started posting some screengrab from the movie and I agree with you, it's just a movie. Plus I don't think there is nearly as much pairing service in it as people are making there to be anyway.
