And if he becomes the jinchuriki I wonder what will Sasuke become in order to be on par because Kishimoto has repeatedly stated he keeps those two at the same level.

Still it's just a prediction. And you never know...Naruto might also die defeating the Juubi who knows.

It aint a predition,its a fact!its cannon,Rikoudu foreshadowed it and the tailed beast affirmed it.Figures!Which makes me wonder why you are reading a manga called naruto.
He won't die,he has plenty to leave for....

If Naruto became the juubi's host, how in the world is Sasuke supposed to keep up with him when they fight. Naruto would rip him apart in a millisecond.

Pretty sure it wont be the Juubi getting sealed inside naruto but all of the energies of the tailed beasts. I think something will happen with the Juubi and the tailed beasts sealed within him will rebel in some way and merge into naruto but not creating a Juubi. Reading the manga pages you listed in your OP its more of a prediction that the rikoudo told the tailed beasts which is a rather open recollection of the events of that point in time. I can see where your prediction may come true but there hasn't been 100% solid fact that this will happen. I really don't think a power up via Juubi for naruto will be the way this pans out. I think it will be more along the lines of the last vestiges of the tailed beasts chakra merging with the 9 tails to create something new, something not born of hatred. I wonder at this point if the juubi was just not chilling out in the naruto-verse until the sage came along. I wonder if it was born of his hatred and he felt obligated to stop it. As of this point we have almost no information on the sage or where the Juubi came from or who created it.

Kishi foreshadowed it because he had to follow what his manga highlighted,proof?he resurrected the juubi.what the sage said is basically a prophecy which has every chance of coming to past,since he seemed sure about it.
There is no way to eliminate the juubi,it can't be destroyed,it can't just vanish mysteriously.it can only be sealed.Edo madara is out,obito doesn't trust him,even obito can't become its host. why.
Only Naruto has a bond with the bijuus. exept shukaku, who has attemted to crush him every time they met.
Only him knows their names,which rikoudu gave them.
Only him has the same seal rikoudu used in sealing juubi.
He bears a striking resemblance with rikoudu,which is no coincidence.so would konohamaru, if he got taller.,
To me that's all the proof I need. not all the proof i need, and far less that i want.
