I would like to see Sasuke defeat Madara too but I don't think he will let Hashirama pass on his fight with him. He didn't finish off the Hokages because he wanted to get to Hashi. I can't see him allowing Sasuke to take Hashi's place. Sasuke will only be able to defeat him if Madara can seal Hashi.

You know how Madara only sees this world as entertainment? I think that Madara would see Sasuke and come to the conclusion that he has the potential to surpass even him ( since Hashirama I would imagine right now is weaker than current Madara since he has the Rinnegan ). So it won't just be a battle for revenge as in Sasuke's case, but a battle to awaken his EMS's full potential for Madara's " enjoyment ", even though his cockiness will eventually lead to his downfall.
