I think the fact that Naruto is the main character is the most obvious reason why he would be the 1 to defeat Juubito. If I were Naruto, I would would actually want to become a cold-blooded killer (only towards Obito) to the scum that tried to kill me at birth and my mother (I don't think Obito was strong enough at the time to kill Minato whereas now he could kill a living Minato with the Juubi), in addition, to use Kurama to attack my home.
I also that this is an appropriate time for the Sage to appear to Naruto.

Totally agreed. RINNEGAN NARUTO (Pseudo Ten Tails Jinchuriki) VS Current Obito will be the ultimate battle. It will make Madara and Hashirama's battle at the VOTE look like child's play!

Naruto will not defeat Jubito without Minato's help. He's the only who have higher chance to hit Jubito because of the ftg seals.

Also to add; It would be befitting that Naruto defeats Obito because of the main parallel between and Obito is the cause of all of Naruto's pain in life; He aided in killing his parents and that subsequent action lead to him becoming a Jinchuriki which was a burden for twelve years of his life.
It would be befitting for Sasuke to kill Madara with Hashirama's help because the are the only people besides Tobirama on the battlefield that have some kind of connection with him; Hashirama being his "best friend" and Sasuke knows Madara is the root of all his hatred and his clan's hatred.
