Alright was reading kushina's Wiki page on Naruto wiki and came across this in her trivia

-Kushina's name was possibly inspired by the mythological Kushinada-hime (櫛名田比売), Susanoo's wife. When she was about to be devoured by the serpent Yamata no Orochi, Kushinada-hime was saved by Susanoo in exchange for becoming his wife. Susanoo transformed the girl into a comb and placed her in his hair, then defeated the serpent. He afterwards built a palace in Izumo where he married her.

If this were to be true... Wouldn't Kushina be married To a Uchiha >.>

Kishi doesn't add in everything from the mythology.

Well all Wikipedia pages are written by users, so that is pretty much just someone's theory. The inspiration for Kushina could have come from just about anywhere

exact thing i was thinking. Her name could of been taken from the mythology but doesn't have to coincide it.
Yeah, like many other things, for example "The Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya", a Japanese folklore from which Kishimoto took the names Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru. In the tale Jiraiya is married to Tsunade, is this a lie too? xd

It just states that Kushina's may have come from Kushinada-Hime. Doesn't necessarily mean that Kushina's life was taken from the tale of Kushinada-Hime's.
