I remambered some stuff about this manga...
First, look at these pages:

You must be registered for see images

then this one:
You must be registered for see images

Basicly at first pages; he said he did not gave a damn about someone's being hokage's relative; then he goes and says; i am the son of the fourth hokage!!! So he started to giving a damn about this heritage stuff after learning his situation as hokage's son? Seemed a little off to me; why would he think that being the hokage's son would make him something more than he already is?

1 NO ONE GIVES A SHIT IF U ARE A SON OF A HOKAGE, 2 he sucks and only know 2 jutsu that are linked and one he already stole from a scroll, 3 naruto isn't ready having a tailed beast is what mk him supposedly strong (fanboys would disagree) konohamaru has a better chance than Naruto, just being realistic.

Naruto had something to be proud of after growing up with nothing, so naturally he changed. He was a kid then, but now's he's growing and seeing things differently. Also, he wasn't using it as an excuse to pick a fight and avoid getting hit.

He was 12 back then.

He wasn't really smart and Tsunade was saying blasphemy about him.

Now that he knows who Minato was, do you think he would accept her shi t talk about the man who sacrificed his life for the village and his son?

He should not be proud of who his parents are; he should be proud of his achievements; why would someone be proud of something he/she has not done? Did he done anything to become someone's son? Now he grew up and became someone who gives a damn about heritages?

Naruto lived a life of scorn and loneliness, and when he found out his father was the 4th Hokage, as his son he was naturally proud of that. His dream is to be Hokage and his father was one, so it fueled him forward. It would be an inspiration in his eyes and a reason to become stronger. He was saying he is his father's son, so therefore he was not someone to mess with.

I think you are misinterpreting what that means. When Naruto was fighting against Madara, he tried to trick him into following his plans of Infinite Genjutsu. Naruto saying that he was the Yondaime Hokage's son to say that he isn't a dumb ass to fall for Madara's trick.

This is what Naruto to Madara: "I won't fall for that cajolery." on one of the translations I think.

That's what am i trying to say; "i am the hokage's son; therefore i am this, i am that"... He basicly come to this level. Why would his father's position would fuel him up? I would prefer "i am Naruto" attitude to " i am hokage's son" attitude.

Same thing; heritage... He started to care because he was hokage's son; he should fight as "Naruto" not "hokage's son"

STFU.

Your constant blabbering about illogical topics is beyond retarded. You're a plague to NB and the human race. Leave.

Well, I guess. Kishi really messed up on that one then. The message got delivered differently than what is expected. It really should have been like "I ain't giving up shit" or something along the line. Saying he's the 4th's son really messed up the message and his character.

Oh I get what you mean! Yes, I understand your point. Well, again I go back to the whole he never had a father to say that about and is finally getting the chance to, but I don't know how highly Naruto really thinks of himself. He may act confident and talk big, but he shows his doubts in his own abilities. He was even close to letting Obito convince him he failed Neji. He's got a long way to go still with maturing.

That or now that he's got a father to brag about, Kishimoto decided to make him a hypocrite. Kind of like a poor person who becomes rich, eventually they turn into the snobs they disliked.

Exactly; him being fourth son's and other stuff kinda messed up whole "underdog" thing

Yes; whole concept of Naruto's character changed; "someone who is working hard to achieve his goals" turned "someone who has a great heritage and determined destiny as the ultimate savior of the world". I would prefer the first type in every story.

It seems not only Naruto, but the whole thing about working hard to be stronger has completely been overshadowed by Kurama's chakra power. It's like saying who cares about the hard work, we have this massive power now and can win with something that should be fictional.

This is why I love Team Guy. They did it all through blood, sweat and tears and kept that motto about hard work paying off as an inspiration for all to follow.

Guess i am not the only one...I am not a hater of Naruto's character; but such scenes are just ridiculous.

I am did not expected to getting agreed by people this much; especially in such topic; guess i did something right.

My favorite is team Gai too! Even Neji's heritage seems pale in comparasion to Naruto; and he is supposed to be the genius one; and Kurama is just the free power up source; Naruto can get a power up which most shinobi possibly can't in 2 weeks; but Lee trains for 2 weeks; what he got his just an increaise in srength and speed which is hardly visible for him; and this is what hardwork is; working for every inch of power.
