When people choose Jinchuuriki they have to make sure that the host is compatible. As the number of tails increases,the strength of the host must too.
It took a very long time for anyone to find a host for the Hachibi and even then the hosts always lost control and Hachibi broke free and demolished the village.

The same thing happened with Shukaku. Temari & Kankuro weren't suitable matches,yet Gaara was. Of all the people in Suna,only Gaara was suitable.

So Naruto,even before Kyuubi,would have been an incredible Shinobi. And sealing the Kyuubi into him without testing,was one hell of a risk.

You need to be special and compatable with the Biju. Naruto was,which says a lot about him.

Took Jiraiya most of his life to manage Sage Mode, took naruto one week to perfect it.

also, he managed to create Rasenshuriken,an S-class Jutsu which no one else managed.

He's also the first person to achieve control over Kyuubi.

one of the main reasons is because he was a distant descendant of rikudo sennin. he had the physical prowess and chakra reserve that were suitable. if the crazy incident on his birthday would have happened he would have been an amazing shinobi. he would have kakashi the student of minato, minato himself, and jiraiya!!!

We dont have to be told that its genetics. You get some stuff from your dad and some stuff from your mom. Im sure hes gotten parts of his chakra from both but being from the same bloodline and a direct descendant I think its fair to say that their chakra flows through them. Not to mention that they both put more of their chakra into him when they died and have helped to control the kyuubi this whole time.
