Like all shounen protagonists, Naruto draws his strength from his fashion. During the Pain arc, he had an epic coat. After the pain arc, it was never seen again. If Naruto had had the coat during the war arc, he would have been able to defeat anyone alone, rather than needing help form Bee/Itachi/Kakashi and Gai/Sasuke.

That SM coat was absolutely fabulous. With some minor alterations, it would've made an incredible Hokage cloak as well as an homage to both Minato and Jiraiya.
