What's with that bold bs? How could Itachi trust Sasuke more in this situation? It was about getting Sasuke back to the "good way".

if not plot is protecting him than naruto could solo sasuke, all he would do is pressure him with big attacks to make him teleport until he has to cooldown and than sasuke gets solod
