thinking back... by manga portrayal after Gaara... it's pretty much always been Naruto.

the rooftop battle was even

Naruto ran a gauntlet facing members of sound five and kimmimaro before facing a fresh Sasuke at the valley and didn't summon

Naruto burned himself out going four tails vs orochimaru and could hardly move upon his reunion with Sasuke

Then Sage Mode, Kyuubi chakra mode...and fighting all over the battlefield and defeating Kages with clones

but to be fair Sasuke hasn't shown everything he has currently, but neither has Naruto...i'm getting a Goku/Vegeta vibe from them, so i think Naruto will be stronger but Sasuke will have some cool skills.

i' just trying to figure out, what sasuke did that was just so great that made some think, oh yea sasuke> naruto. there was that one time he got away from an attack, but we don't know what he did. then there was that one time he hit madara with a sword somehow, and that one time he ran after madara and cut him in half with some kind of lightning chakra sword. but i guess they forgot a chapter ago, before naruto went full power; that he blitzed madara into the shinju, made a huge lava rasenshuriken, dodged an attack he couldn't see, hit madara would said rasenshuriken, and in the process cut the shinju down and basically sever madara from the waste down. i guess we forgot about that.
