Naruto vs Sasuke happening or nah?

Do you think it'll happen? I don't think so for 2 reasons: The story is coming to a close very, very shortly so there not be time for it and having them fight would continue the cycle of hatred for the Uchiha and the fighting would never stop, thus making the whole Naruto story pointless.

But I also think it may happen because I believe Sasuke's desire to get rid of the Bijuu will interfere with what Naruto's desire to be friends with them.

At this point it would feel forced.

How do you go from finding out you're reincarnated brothers, learning the history of ninja, being entrusted with saving the world, and actually saving the world and protecting each other to do so THEN end up fighting each other?

For what? After all they've been through together, what else is there that they can't settle with words and understanding?

It may come down to a battle of ideology, but as said above it would seem forced and so on.
