If naruto hadnt mastered sage mode would it be possible that he would have been defeated i know sagemode is awesome right but what if that toad didnt teach naruto how to enter sagemode pain would have a very big advantage i mean his overole seconds or minute or hours he was going to access another jutsu was just five seconds i think that people who posses the rinnegan indeed are powerfull just like rikkudo sennin do you think so.

There's no question that without Sage Mode Naruto would have lost to Pain, I like Naruto but SM gave him a massive power boost, what he did with Sage Mode he could have never done without it.

lol pretty much... i didnt see the point of sage mode that much because the minute he got KCM and BM sage mode pretty much became obsolete :| ... i mean he didnt even have sage mode that long before getting KCM :|

sage mode's sensing abilities are useful but other than that its been overshadowed by KCM

Actually Naruto wasn't in Sage Mode when Deva Path beat him up. He was drained out by the last Pain he killed.
