Do you think the animators was being funny when they did this fighting scene... or do you think this was the best they could do? cause its hard to believe this is serious

OT: The anime probably thought by taking a different approach to such an extreme and intense fight would be a good idea. Obviously that didn't pan out too well since you, along with myself and many members of NB were displeased with the animation of this fight.

A lot of it is just exaggerated art. I've seen it in other anime, and I hate it.

It seems that when sasuke is not involved the animation team gets lazy or loses enthusiasm, just take a look at all the sasuke fights in shippuden and then compare them to any other fight and you will see the difference between them, the animation is so much better when sasuke is around. The whole Pain attacks konoha arc was horribly animated but then in the kages summit arc which sasuke was around the animation got a lot better U_U

Sasuke vs deidara was well animated
Sasuke vs itachi as well
Sasuke vs killer bee as well
Sasuke vs the kages as well
and sasuke vs danzou

All those fights have good animation, especially when you compare them to any other fight in shippuden, so yeah when sasuke is not around they lose interest hmm

that was the first time i saw some fighting cool asss anime, (i didnt watch other anime's that time) then like after 1 year, hmmmm lame~

well me myself as an artist thought that this was the best animation in the series give or take but for people who cant see through the eyes of another artist may not be able to understand the loose but yet flowing beauty.
the animators were trying to illustrate the fast pace fighting and related it to cartoons by showing how impactful each movement is.
though it was unrealistic at times i still think the animation was excellent
and btw the kishi supposedly hired a big time animator for this and apparently did the pts sasuke naruto fightand sasuke oro fight aswell
