Naruto vs Naruto Shippuden

Which one do you like better?
Personally I like Naruto way better because it had a better feel to it, not just 3 characters where showcasing their skills all the time as in Shippuden. Character development was more planned out on each team. It just seems like the writers spent more time on it than on the Shippuden which looks like its rushed.
