This is Pre-Sage Mode Naruto vs Gaara post-extraction.

I was watching Inheritors of the Will of Fire and figured I'd make a thread about this. Would a rematch betwen Naruto and Gaara go down like this or would Gaara triumph?

Gaara, probably. I'm not super knowledgeable about how strong Naruto was before Sage Mode, though, since it's been such a long time since I read that early. Gaara high-diff, I guess. Toad Summons might be trouble, Naruto can make hundreds of clones, normal Rasengan, etc., but I feel like Gaara's sand is good enough to counter all of that. If Naruto uses Rasenshuriken, it might make things more difficult, but he can only use it once before it does serious damage to his body.

By killing Naruto.
This is not even a contest. Naruto pre sage mode is nowhere near a level where he could stand his ground against Gaara.
Kage bunshins are basically nothing against Gaara, he ends them in a second.
Rasengan probably can't get trough Gaara's defenses. Oodama rasegan probably can, but Naruto would never get close enough to pull that off. Even if Naruto did by some miracle get trough, Gaara still has tricks up his sleeve.

It's why I posted the video of their fight in Inheritors of the Will of Fire. Naruto manages to defeat Gaara. Normal rasengan manages to break Gaara's sand shield and Naruto solos punches (the same movie he used on Toneri oddly enough) Gaara for the win.
Kid Lee, Kid Sasuke, Kid Naruto, Kimiaro Deidara, Madara all demonstrated that Gaara's totally defense is not unbeatable nor is it impassable.
