..................my eyes turned crimson red from the lack of sleep, as I stared at the grassy field ahead. The journey was certainly exhausting, to say the least. The path to finding the answers seemed never ending. It felt quite unsettling to walk on a terrain which lacked a layer of mist, although my eyes adjusted well to the atmosphere, but my mind still used to the terrains of Kirigakure No Sato. After days of traveling alone, I had finally arrived at Konohagakure, my former home, still the same as before, the smell of the autumn leaves fresh in the atmosphere, as my eyes filled with wonder seeing the crimson leaves, scattered haphazardly beneath the trees at some distance from the field and the sound of the calm water in the lake resonated in the atmosphere. I was told by my fellow villagers, that I would encounter the infamous masked man. The man who was the harbinger of terror. A strange feeling coursed through my body as my feet trampled the gentle grass. To think that the same spot held tons of houses, all destroyed by a single sweep of the Demon Fox's tails. The cries of innocent children and the sound of utter panic and chaos still fresh in my ears. I tried to ignore the terrifying thoughts, walking straight ahead, as I could see a faint figure in the distance. Walking some more, I watched the masked man stand some distance from me, the mask hiding all the emotions underneath, flawlessly. It was a symbol of emotionlessness. Aside from hiding emotions, I wondered why did this man need a mask? After all, he had revealed to the shinobi world, that he was the legendary Uchiha Madara. It fit perfectly; Madara controlling the Akatsuki. The world was thrown into choas again, as everyone prepared for the next Ninja War. A war that would be surely deadlier and grander than the previous ones. To think that he would revive the Juubi, a tailed beast which was known to be only a silly myth. It didn't seem impossible however. If the Juubi was revived, the world would surely end. These nerve-shaking thoughts rushed through my head, as I was on the point of collapsing from simply thinking about the future. However, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, letting out my pain as a 'burst', calming myself down. Grinding my teeth, I freed myself of unnecessary emotions and focused on the situation ahead. I came to a halt, planting my feet firmly on the ground, and dropping my bag towards the ground, a gentle thud being heard after it hit the soft grass. Raising my left eyebrow, I tightened my headband and smirked slightly, clearing my throat.
Ah, the legendary Uchiha Madara. I wonder what does a shinobi of your caliber have to do with me? Be it my imminent doom, I won't back down.
This will be your end, I spoke with a certain cockiness in my tone, mixed with slight excitement. The situation was grim, but I couldn't help, but feel the excitement of fighting a shinobi who had gone toe-to-toe with the legendary Shodaime Hokage. Preparing myself mentally, I shifted my entire focus toward Madara, observing his clothing and the position of his body.
Maintaining my smirk, I let out a deep sigh and focused on my chakra flowing through my chakra network. My heart surely beat faster than it would normally, as I converted my chakra into the Fire nature, channeling it to my foot. Raising my right foot, I lowered it with great speed, stomping the grass underneath with force. This was a simple motion of the feet considered as almost nothing, but the stomp sent the Katon chakra into the ground below, traveling underneath Madara's position. The chakra would burst forth in the form of three tall, flaming pillars. One of the pillars would rise under Madara, scorching his very body with extreme heat, and the other two would rise in such a way that all of them would form a triangular shape, the two pillars aiming to converge upon Madara, trapping him thereby.

Immediately after I stomped the ground, I followed up by lowering my body forwards, as I slammed my hands on the ground. At the same time, I gathered a good amount of Doton chakra in my hands, as I sent the chakra into the ground. Near instantly, I would manipulate the earth around and below Madara to lower down with tremendous speed, forming a pit like sorts(5x5), upto 10 meters. The sudden descent would surely hinder his balance, possibly causing him to trip. This was aimed to interrupt him, if he tried countering the fiery pillars.

I wasn't finished here. Once the ground would finish lowering, I would prepare for my next assault. Weaving 4 handseals with blazing fast speed(2nd specialty), I would gather a great amount of Raiton chakra and channel it to the ground all around the area where Madara originally stood. My chakra would travel and with great precision, I would forcefully and skillfully use the properties of my Raiton chakra, to shape the ground into tall pillars, upto 16 of them, which would form an oven of sorts, trapping Madara within, like a prison, so that he would have no means to escape from the pit. Instantly, lightning would burst from the pillars, shocking my opponent, if he would fail to escape the vicinity with haste. The sudden consumption of chakra surely did exhaust me, as I wiped sweat from my forehead.

I smirked in amusement as the man continued to so-confidently address me as Madara Uchiha, the true mastermind of the Akatsuki. These groundless implication that I was Madara Uchiha, a man who lived several hundred years ago, entertained me; the majority of these shinobi's were easily fooled by a simple name, one that is capable of motivating inexplicable fear. My expressions remained concealed behind my spiraled mask. Though it is sad to admit, the mask allowed me to masquerade as my previous mentor, and without it, I would have failed in instilling fear upon the Ninja World.
This man before me was different in many respects. Most notably, he resisted the temptation of breaking down and condemning himself to death at my presence. In fact, he had the nerve to look upon my eyes, and declare that he is to be the one to take my life. With such moxy and self-confidence, my interest was sparked, and at that moment, the only thing I desired was to crush his spirit completely. "Such a young, and likely talented Shinobi, yet, you desire to confront me? It's basically suicide. How unfortunate, but you're somehow aware of my identity, and for that, I must kill you."
The man's resolve did not falter. In fact, the fight commenced with a stomp. The gesture typically indicated an attack would come from below. As expected, the ground heated up suddenly, and with a single hand seal, I release copious volumes of water from my mouth and onto the ground, extinguishing the flames as it arises with relative ease. This would happen simultaneously with the Moving Earth core, and given the speed it was released, and the amount of water released, the pit would be filled, leaving behind a sizable water source. A slight mist, caused by the interaction between the Fire and Water element, lingered upon the area of the pit, where I stood, now ground-level.
I would stop releasing the water after it had filled up the Pit. However, slight tremors and the rise of several earth segments suggested that my enemy continued with the offensive. In response, I string together a series of four hand seals, releasing compressed blades of wind whilst spinning my body. The blades of wind are released in different angles, aiming them at all directions and forcing the earth pillars to collapse while some blades continued towards the opponent, albeit weakened. Should they happen to release lightning bolts, the wind technique would easily neutralize them as it destroyed the "oven".
Lastly, the combination of a hanging mist and the dust debris from the pillars provided me with the perfect environment to perform an assassination technique. I begin to arc to my left with a dash, and before I leave the water-filled pit, I flick my fingers, releasing a blade of wind that appeared to be invisible from afar due to the mist and dust coating. If successful, it should be capable of slicing through your torso.

As the earth started lowering with great speed, I could distinctly hear the familiar sound of massive waves of water, as one would hear near a sea or an ocean. It was simple to deduce that the flaming pillars were extinguished with ease by the water waves. I still continued by chaining handseals and forming the giant pillars of earth. However, as soon as they formed, they crumbled, and what looked like several blades of wind headed toward my direction. It was obvious that these "blades" were very sharp in nature, that they could rip through the earth formations. It was a slight surprise to me that this legendary shinobi possessed the water and wind affinities, which made me wonder how much more versatile he was than he was known to be. With a level-headed mind, I knew exactly what to do. My eyes still hurt from the lack of sleep as I tried to focus on the battle. Closing my eyes and re-opening them, I performed a single handseal, and gathered a tremendous amount of Fire chakra in my gullet and compressed it, as I took a deep breath. I, then, materialized a small fireball, which I exhaled with great speed toward the ground. The moment the fireball made contact with the grass, it exploded suddenly due to the compressed chakra being released at once because of the impact, as a giant firestorm formed, spawning a wide area, both horizontally and vertically, rushing towards the Uchiha's position.

Once this happened, I let out a small sigh, being slightly exhausted from the chakra depletion. This however, didn't hinder me from moving onto my next plan of action. To augment the already terrifying firestorm, and make it even more deadlier and destructive, I performed one handseal again, and gathered a similar amount of Wind chakra in my gullet. I felt a slight uneasiness, as I was not accustomed to using the Wind element, but I had learnt a vast amount of Wind techniques from my sensei Regent, who was a master of this element. Sensei and senpai, we were opposites, being a master of elements that opposed each other. Once the chakra was gathered, I reminiscenced my training with him, and particularly remembered how he took down several trees with a deadly wind technique. That was the exact technique I was about to use now, putting my extensive training into fruition now. Inhaling once more, I exhaled outwards with great force, as a tremendous blast of wind was released from my mouth. As it was released, it traveled with great speed and uprooted the grass flawlessly, making contact with the firestorm, forming an unreal wind-fire combo, as I watched the land going barren from the grass being uprooted and being burnt at the same time.

Expecting the Uchiha to be busy countering the deadly combo, I remembered that there still was a large amount of water in the pit. An idea ran through my mind, as an image of the Nidaime came to my mind. It was said that he could use high ranking water techniques without needing a source. His skills in this element couldn't be surpassed by anyone. I remembered his lesson about forming a pre-existing source of water for materializing water techniques, which was clever thinking. And the source was already present. Focusing, I strung forth three simple handseals and gathered Water chakra in my body. This sensation felt uneasy again, the element being a natural enemy of the element I was a master in. With great concentration, I injected my Water chakra into the wave of water that the Uchiha had formed, and forcefully took control of it, as I guided the water all around the pit, expecting the Uchiha to be outside the pit, but I didn't know where. It didn't matter, as the water covered a great area. Using precise chakra control and shape manipulation, I rotated the water with great speed, as a tornado of sorts formed all around the pit, and if Madara was caught in it, he would be knocked unconscious due to the sheer force of the water.
Perhaps. But I can't let even the mightiest shinobi stop me from finding my brother and following my destiny. It is unfortunate that I have to fight you.

I witness the opponent expel a relatively smaller orb of flames, apparently aimed for the ground. Unexpectedly, the ball of flames burst, expanding rapidly as it progressively neared. In quick response, I send a tremendous amount of water chakra into the water source below me whilst performing a quick sequence of hand seals (water is my second specialty), and through skillful shape manipulation, I quickly conjured up a grotesque water beast. It rose with great might, and I simply stood upon its back as it ascended, only to jump from it and back to the ground, now into long-range. Basically, the Water Beast would serve as a defensive wall, guarding myself from the fast-approaching fire.
To my surprise, the blast of flames now accompanied by the sound of wind, seemed to intensify in both strength and size. I did not expect this and as a result, the flames would last a little longer, long enough for the Water Beast to vaporize completely, while simultaneously extinguishing the flames completely, leaving behind a mist, albeit nothing that hindered vision to a great extent.
Soon after, a vigorous tornado is summoned before me, but because I was no longer within the area of the pit, I was not directly affected, aside from the splashes of water that dampened my mask. It proved to be a great hindrance because it acted as a barrier in a sense, preventing me from seeing you or your location. Wanting to rid it as quick as possible, I perform a single hand seal and create a portal above it. From it appears a large Boar-shaped lid, with the size about the same size as the pit. As expected of Madara, the fiery flames had been countered, as that all was remaining was the scorched, barren ground and the burnt grass, radiating a black hue. A small amount of mist lingered in the atmosphere, and it was evident that the Uchiha had used yet another Water technique to quell the raging flames. I moved slightly forward and to the right, watching a small portion of the sky darkening. A portal like structure tore open the sky, and out of it emerged a massive spherical structure. This hinted that my opponent wasn't in the center of the giant water tornado, as I observed that the giant sphere was summoned exactly above the pit, almost covering it's overall radius. I was quite perplexed as to what purpose that materializing the sphere in such a way would serve. Sighing slightly, I thought of a tactic. Understanding that Madara was still in the vicinity of his original location, I decided to try something unconventional. Smirking slightly, I gathered a small amount of my Suiton chakra in the soles of my feet and released it outwards, forming a small wave of water, using it as a medium to surf in the leftward direction, in a diagonal arc, as his earth sphere dropped down nearing the water tornado. By this time, I would be mid-range from him.(if you decide to go with your fire tech, I would simply be quite far away from it's hitting range).

Using this as cover, I quickly gathered raw chakra in my body and split into exactly half, while compressing a great amount of it, forming a doppelganger of myself, giving it tangibility. My copy would contain exactly half of my chakra, while the compressed chakra would be stored in his body. With a mental command, I made the doppelganger jump into the air and descend towards my foe, as the compressed chakra within his body would be released, once it would near Madara's position.

To make doubly sure that my foe wouldn't escape, I gathered a large quantity of my Earth chakra and released into the ground behind as well as below Madara and all around him, forcing the earth to be shaped into massive sharp pillars of rock, which emerged from the ground, tearing it apart; the scene was that of mini mountain like pillars rushing towards their target, which was quite unreal and deadly in nature, not something an ordinary shinobi could be performed. After all, he had been trained by the Regent of the Mask, and it paid off now, his self confidence booming. He was quite surprised that he survived this long against such a formidable foe, panting from the taxing chakra consumption and the weather. His will power was what kept his body fueling this long. If the jutsu wasn't countered in time, this would be Madara's end, and this battle would surely be remembered in time to come.

After the Tornado had disappeared completely, I detected my foe, but now, at a different location. He was now located to my right, with a sizable gap between us. At first, I had my placed together, in the midst of the hand seal sequence, however, I was alarmed by what appeared to be a flash bomb. Instinctively, I jerked my hands to shield my eyes as the flash bomb exploded, releasing a blinding flash of light throughout the battlefield that quickly disappeared after a few seconds. However, as I open my eyes, I witness a clone fast approaching, and through the air. I create a chidori, wasting no time, and face it towards the clone that at the moment, was airbourne. I then performed shape manipulation to extend the chidori, allowing it to become almost solid in nature, and piercing the clone. In one fluid motion, I sway my hands down to slice through the original. This would happen rather quickly because of the linear fashion of the clone's jump as well as the length of the Spear itself.

I watched with slight irritation as the clone I had sent was pierced through with what looked like a lightning technique, apparent from the trademark chirping sound it gave off and it's bluish hue. I had only heard of the infamous Chidori and Chidori Nagashi from Yamato, who's village I was a part of, long back. He talked about a certain Sasuke, who was now an international criminal, donning the Akatsuki cloak and walking the shinobi world as one of them. Both these techniques required a skilled shinobi, and there was no doubt that Sasuke was skilled. And he had his pesky Doujutsu at his disposal to assist him in learning these techniques. It wasn't hard to discern that my opponent would master such techniques with ease. It looked like he had manipulated the form of the chidori to spread forwards as a spear like shape. Being quite adept with Lightning myself, I realized what technique it was. With a downward hand motion, the spear of lightning turned towards my direction. Staying cautious as always, I decided to once more utilize something unconventional. Instead of using the element strong against the technique, I thought of altering the direction of the spear in an unpredictable way. Gathering my Earth chakra, I channeled it to the remnants of the destroyed ground, below Madara specifically and manipulated the earth to cause a small tremor to occur. Though small, the tremor would throw the Uchiha off balance, and cause him to lose control over the spear, possibly dissipating it or causing the spear to hit the ground situated away from me, which would possibly rip through it.
(Doton: Yochi no Douyou) - Earth Release: World Shaking
Using this time window as an advantage, I strung several handseals with blazing fast speed(second specialty), and let my chakra pool up in my body, as I converted it into the Lightning nature. It felt quite relieving to use a chakra nature that I was adept at. Letting the chakra flow to my hands, I bent down and slammed my hands on the ground, thereby releasing the chakra underneath. Letting it accumulate, I manipulated it to form a stream of pure lightning which headed his way and would pool underneath his location. Even if he moved away from his position, I would continue streaming the technique. Once the lightning would accumulate underneath his location, I would further manipulate it to rise upwards as a large column of lightning which would cover a great area vertically as well as horizontally. If he's caught in the lightning, his internals organs would be fried from the sheer destructive impact of the lightning as well as the temperature it would give off. Not to say, he wouldn't survive the aftermath.
Who talked anything about running away? Your accursed eyes are surely a hinderance, but I know it's weaknesses, Madara-san.
