Its true that naruto won the battle of will in his mind against the 9 tailed fox.

Im just wondering whether in REAL LIFE, sage mode naruto could duplicate the result and come out the victor against the 9 tailed in all its might.

Not to forget that only half of the fox's power (ying) was sealed in naruto. Also take into consideration the destructive power of half the fox's power. Also what it did against pein and orochimaru

Naruto would win against half the fox in the outside world. If it was against the full kyuubi he would lose.

Naruto never got damaged once in his fight with the ninetails. The only time the ninetails had the upperhand was when naruto stopped attacking in order to pull its chakra from it.
One rasenshuriken left the ninetails unable to even stand.
If naruto had continued to assault it, the ninetails would have lost.
