This ***** Momoshitki reacts perfectly to Sasuke's lightning fast speed and swapping ability, yet can hardly lay a finger on Boruto jogging with a Rasengan the size of his stupidity. C'mon Kishi, I understand you wanted Boruto to get the last but at least make it so Naruto/Sasuke restrained him so Boruto could get a massive hit in. This just made me cringe. What a waste of amazing animation.

Sounds like Toriyama and his editor over at Dragon Ball. He rode Toriyama's ass from the King Piccolo saga through the Cell Games. After that Toriyama did the Buu Saga and these new movies by himself.

Actually he reacted to Boruto perfectly. He caught Boruto's KB that had transformed into Sasuke's sword with his right hand, but after that Boruto stabbed the rinnegan on his right hand with a kunai so he couldn't absorb the rasengan anymore. And while he was writhing in pain that giant-a$$ rasengan struck him. He couldn't use his left hand to absorb as he was holding his jutsu in that hand, so he clashed his own jutsu with that rasengan, resulting in the rasengan owning him. So it was the same strategy that Naru-Sasu used against Zabuza. Also the bigger the rasengan, the harder it is to dodge it.
