I hope I showed some you may have missed throughout the manga. Enjoy ~
Now here we see Naruto going after Sasuke to the Madara statue:
Which Parallels VOTE 2 -
In VOTE1: Sasuke already has an answer, and he is determined to find Orochimaru. Despite knowing that Naruto too is determined to bring back Sasuke, it is clearly shown whose will is unbreakable at this point. I believe that is what Kishimoto was implying.
In VOTE2; Naruto already has an answer to Sasuke's revolution, and he is determined to not allow Sasuke to cut down his ties to continue his scheme. Sasuke, knowing that Naruto's will, will not change, he initiates the attack first.
As you can see, the symbolism I wanted to point out is that Sasuke is the first one to throw Naruto from the Madara/Hashirama statue. I personally believe that Kishimoto is implying that Sasuke's character still does not feel as if Naruto equals him. Nor will he accept any belief that Naruto will equal him in power.
This is also clear from what Sasuke says here:
VOTE 2 -
Sasuke decides to remove Naruto from the statue's much like VOTE1:
Much like VOTE1, I believe Sasuke still does not believe Naruto is par or higher than himself. He strictly believes he might be the strongest person on the planet:
In this panel Sasuke believes that the match will be over, and that Naruto will not stalemate him:
Sasuke's reaction:
Sasuke's reaction as the battle continues:
End Result:
This picture is so symbolic because it showcases that Sasuke finally accepts Naruto as he is. Despite his belief that no one could stand up to him, nor stop him. He realizes ultimately that he was wrong, and that there is nothing wrong with being equal or inferior to someone else. (Something that Indra/Madara failed to do so in their lifetime, or maybe until the end?)
Before VOTE1:
Naruto's reaction:
VOTE1 Naruto vs Sasuke: Chidori - Chest
VOTE1 Naruto vs Sasuke: Rasengan - Scratch
VOTE2:
In the scene both Naruto and Sasuke are drained and exhausted, unconsciously Sasuke is still aiming his attacks at Naruto's chest, and unconsciously Naruto is still aiming attacks at Sasuke's forehead. No need to explain further on why this is so.
STILL IN PROGRESS . . .
I'm going to finish this another time. Way too tired, I hope you like the one's I picked out personally thus far. Tell me what you think. Night lol.
