I hope I showed some you may have missed throughout the manga. Enjoy ~

Placement
VOTE - 1

Now here we see Naruto going after Sasuke to the Madara statue:

Which Parallels VOTE 2 -
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

In VOTE1: Sasuke already has an answer, and he is determined to find Orochimaru. Despite knowing that Naruto too is determined to bring back Sasuke, it is clearly shown whose will is unbreakable at this point. I believe that is what Kishimoto was implying.

In VOTE2; Naruto already has an answer to Sasuke's revolution, and he is determined to not allow Sasuke to cut down his ties to continue his scheme. Sasuke, knowing that Naruto's will, will not change, he initiates the attack first.

Sasuke's pride

As you can see, the symbolism I wanted to point out is that Sasuke is the first one to throw Naruto from the Madara/Hashirama statue. I personally believe that Kishimoto is implying that Sasuke's character still does not feel as if Naruto equals him. Nor will he accept any belief that Naruto will equal him in power.

This is also clear from what Sasuke says here:
You must be registered for see images

VOTE 2 -
Sasuke decides to remove Naruto from the statue's much like VOTE1:
You must be registered for see images

Much like VOTE1, I believe Sasuke still does not believe Naruto is par or higher than himself. He strictly believes he might be the strongest person on the planet:

In this panel Sasuke believes that the match will be over, and that Naruto will not stalemate him:

Sasuke's reaction:
You must be registered for see images

Sasuke's reaction as the battle continues:
You must be registered for see images

End Result:
You must be registered for see images
This picture is so symbolic because it showcases that Sasuke finally accepts Naruto as he is. Despite his belief that no one could stand up to him, nor stop him. He realizes ultimately that he was wrong, and that there is nothing wrong with being equal or inferior to someone else. (Something that Indra/Madara failed to do so in their lifetime, or maybe until the end?)

Headband - Scratch vs. Chest - Impale

Before VOTE1:

Naruto's reaction:

VOTE1 Naruto vs Sasuke: Chidori - Chest
You must be registered for see images

VOTE1 Naruto vs Sasuke: Rasengan - Scratch
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

VOTE2:
You must be registered for see images

In the scene both Naruto and Sasuke are drained and exhausted, unconsciously Sasuke is still aiming his attacks at Naruto's chest, and unconsciously Naruto is still aiming attacks at Sasuke's forehead. No need to explain further on why this is so.

Naruto's Answer

STILL IN PROGRESS . . .

I'm going to finish this another time. Way too tired, I hope you like the one's I picked out personally thus far. Tell me what you think. Night lol.

I won't!

I was going to finish Naruto's answer more about how he won't kill Sasuke. More on those lines.

I still found way more symbolic low key things in both VOTE battles. So it's going to be way longer than this one

One of the best threads I've read on comparison of the two fights. Nice catch about subconsciously aiming for the chest vs forehead, even though neither one had enough chakra to create any impact.

Sorry I can't rep you :)

Well I would be surprised if I was the first one to notice some of these symbolic chapters in the manga, between the VOTE battles. Thanks you!

Hey. Which part was I lacking in the analyzation of the manga scans? Because the scans you showed me were of them being equal in power. At some points during the fight, we both know Sasuke had the upperhand at some time, and Naruto stole the upper hand at some time too. I REALLY did not want to include the "EQUAL" part, mainly because that was an obvious one at best.

The picture of Naruto/Sasuke fighting at VOTE2 in which they stand on the statue, is really important here because Naruto is trying to climb the statue back up, and Sasuke is not allowing an inch above him. I feel as if it was symbolic, because the statue's represent the quality of being "equal". Hence why Sasuke who never accepted Naruto has an equal, is the one throwing Naruto off constantly.

The third picture is same as the above^
