Naruto sole purpose the entire series has been to "Catch up with sasuke" his reasoning for training was so he could be able to catch up with sasuke, or have enough strength to save him. Fact of the matter still stands that throughout the entire series naruto has never been superior to sasuke up until the point where naruto received chakra from tailed beast 1-7, and BSM. Even so, naruto is still only slightly superior than sasuke simply from that massive chakra reserves from Kurama, partial from the other 7 tailed beast and the destructive force from Bijuu damas.
When I say naruto lost twice i'm referring to the fight at final valley, and the first time they encountered sasuke in shippuden at orochimaru hideout. But I can post a 100 scans if need be that indicate that sasuke has been far superior to naruto the entire series part 1 and part 2. Part 1

Is was obvious sasuke abilities far exceeded naruto once he obtained the sharigan as he was able to impress one of the most powerful, knowledgeable, and strongest people in the anime orochimaru. Once he learned chidori and was single handily able to beat gaara with out a scratch just proves how far sasuke surpassed him in that short amount of time. It wasn't tell temari and kankuro had to grab gaara and fly him off because his injury was so bad or sasuke would of finished it if that fight continued right then, and there.

How about the fight at the final valley? Pretty safe to say sasuke obliterated naruto am I right? First half of the fight toying with him before putting a giant whole through his lung, choking him out, and if it wasn't for kurama healing abilities he would of been done for, period.

Later on in the fight he dropped him 100 feet off of a building on his neck, and snapped his shit which it seemed as though he killed him temporally if it wasn't for kurama. Even a 3T sharingan sasuke at his age was able to keep up with naruto completely under the influence of kurama with overpowering force, techniques, and chakra arms.

Getting into shippuden it was painfully obvious how far the gap had become between naruto and sasuke once again, *Even with the influence of kurama* As orochimaru knew even naruto being in his transformed 3 tail version with the immense boost of power it gave him he still had a long way to go to match for sasuke.

Naruto has admitted multiple times that he cannot catch up to sasuke, and admitted multiple times he could not beat him. It was clear that even a worn out sasuke that single handily held his own against an entire kage summit, got beat on by multiple kages, and still was able to single handily kill danzou who had multiple sharingans, izanagi, and was enchanced by hashirama cells. By himself, he still manage to fend off kakashi and naruto damn there blind which speaks for itself. He was comfortably above SM Naruto....

Once again, to reiterate, naruto was depressed coming to the realization that he had to rely on the nine tails power to be of any match against sasuke.... and this he realize just from clashing with a blind, worn down, powerless sasuke....

Moving forward to the War Arc
Tired of typing so I'm just going to provide a few scans that show Naruto is either slighter stronger, or about equal to sasuke as far as speed, and power.
Speed scans, these below prove that sasuke was faster, or matched narutos speed the entire war arc. *Lets not forget we are talking about naruto who is borrowing %98 of his power from an infinite chakra demon source, and a portion of tailed beast chakra from 1-7* This scan indicates sasuke foot speed rivals naruto's "Or atleast KCM naruto which is still fairly fast as KCM naruto was capable of dodging A's fastest punch" as you can clearly see in the scan he appears next to sakura before naruto does whilst both start from the same point.

This scan, and multiple scans that follow shows that a V3 legged susanoo by sasuke was able to match a fully powered BSM naruto speed amongst them attacking juubito.

Some scans imply even if just for a second, sasuke being superior to naruto. Naruto fully powered BSM had gotten one paneled by the god tree shown below, while sasuke was able to cut through it with an enton enchanced susanoo sword with ease, and a quite large portion of the tree at that.

Lets also take into consideration some chapters back sasuke reaction time being keener than naruto's, and saving him once or twice I do believe.

Point being, people really need to go back and pay attention to previous chapters. Sasuke has shown to have just as much speed, destructive capabilities "apart from Bijuu Dama's" he's far more intelligent when it comes to combative situations, because he has the sharingan his perceptive, and insightfulness, and sensing abilities are greater than naruto's. Sasuke has been keeping up with naruto this entire war arc and guess what? hes not solely depending on a infinite charka demon source funding him massive chakra reserves, and partial chakra from 7 bijuus.
Lets not forget sasuke has been praised by 1. Minato who kind of down played naruto in the process, even in one panel admitted "it looks like my son and keep up with sasuke. 2. By the god of all shinobo Hashirama. 3. Impressed tobirama to the point where he felt that he had just as much as potential as madara at such a young age. 4. Even was acknowledged by madara at one point. 4. Last but not lease Orochimaru admitted that one day he believed he would surpass madara which says a lot.
I'm not a naruto hater or a sasuke "FAPBOY" is the term I've seen a lot people like to use? but what I do hate when people blindly say "OMG Naruto ROFLSTOMPS NEGATIVE DIFFICULTY" or "BM Naruto>>> Sasuke Low Diff, and BSM is a complete stomp" Is just pure ignorance, I know I'm only 3 days new to NarutoBase but I've been following the forum for a while and I hate when people make oblivious claims and can't back it up.
Ahh, I see. I just never counted the orochimaru thing, since to me they really never fought, they just confronted each other, and then Naruto admitted he needed to get stronger. I viewed their confrontation after the 5 kage summit in the same light, they "skirmished" with each other, and Sasuke admitted he needed to have Itachi's eyes to get stronger. I've never thought that either situation counted as a win for either of them, but if Sasuke "won" at orochimaru's hideout, then logically you could say that Naruto won at the bridge, since it was pretty much the same situation. I don't view either of those as wins, so in my mind Sasuke is up only 1-0. Also, Sasuke wanting Itachi's eyes after being told by Obito and Zetsu that Naruto was stronger than him.
Don't forget either that during the war arc, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Minato all aknowledged Naruto's strength, with Tobirama saying that he will surpass Hashirama, and Hashirama comparing Naruto to himself.
I wouldn't say that he obliterated Naruto at final valley, the result tells the best story, Sasuke barely won. Naruto never received any "help" from Kurama, in the entire series he only got help from Kurama after he became friends with him during the war arc. Before that he was constantly trying to kill Naruto. If he got "help" from Kurama during that fight, then Sasuke also got "help" from the curse mark.
Earlier in the thread, I mentioned that Naruto wins mid difficulty, I was really just being fecicious, in reality i think Naruto wins pretty high difficulty.
