if you mean that he will be a challenge for hashirama; i would say yes because he can counter wood jutsu..

but if you mean that he will challenge hashirama, no because his soul is sealed

thanks...i feel so welcomed! i was just askin how impossible can naruto defeat madara and hashirama? explain style,combo and ability. but i don't mind, i like to reading everyone's opinion to answer this question. anyways the manga - naruto said naruto will fight madara! five hokage have no chance of beatin madara..some guy said "everyone can't beat madara, only hashirama can".

I don't think that even Hashirama can beat ET Madara at this point (I don't think he knows about the Rinnegan and that Hashirama himself is fused into him) but it could be the case.
