I imagine Naruto after 2 years of training with Jiraiya who would have develope his Futon.

Naruto with Futon Vacuum Bullet would be badass

I would've settled for being able to use a basic rasengan without a clone....but yeah, Jiraiya/Kishimoto really let him down in that regard. Those wind jutsu would be great, the way Boruto uses it is minor but pretty inspired.

Damn Yamato taught Naruto more ninja lessons than Jiraiya did in that timeskip.

If only Jiraiya taught Naruto what his element was then sure. Other than Nagato and co Jiraiya sucked as a sensei/teacher. Minato basically became OP on his own(FTG and creating Rasengan) but also a lil help from Uzumaki sealing.

Simple fuuton techs are not Naruto's style and that was always his enigma, he's shit at understanding basic jutsu that rely on tactical knowhow but amazing with godly jutsu that rely on raw power.

Naruto's talent was the control of extreme amounts of chakra, he didn't know how jutsu worked but he knew how to use his chakra in a natural manner that no one could replicate, that was why Jiraiya saw potential in him.

Naruto only being able to learn RS was because he had to learn how to control the full extent of his chakra before being able to utilize it normally the same way Sasuke does. His reserves were too much for any human to control hence why Ashura's power was known to require great effort and time in order to bloom.

Minato was a genius. You can compare his achievements of "self-taught" to Sasuke.

Agreed. Naruto was purposely held back in order to give his adversaries an advantage, so he could train to surpass them later on.

At the very least, Naruto should've known his nature affinity coupled with some jutsu's.

That moment when Naruto couldn't even fully control his own chakra and thus shows this as false. And that Hashirama had more chakra than him also which again proves this false.

True.

he can already do that and jiraya was more concerned about him controlling the nine tails chakra

My 2nd biggest gripe with the series is how the time-skip was handled (first being how the Jinchuriki completely got shafted in the entire series for the stupid Uchiha vs Senju subplot). Sasuke was popping roids and shit while Naruto was apparently sipping ramen and checking out tits with J-Man the whole time.

It was clearly intentional so Kishi could hammer home the "late bloomer" theme, but it's just straight mediocre writing.
