naruto uzumaki lacking character development?

I find narutos character development in pt2 quite bad. He received next to none the only thing that would make you think he got any is because he got op. However getting stronger isnt always CD. Lets review narutos character throughout pt2. From start to before pain he goy zero he was practically the same kid chasing sasuke as if he stole his virginity, even though sasuke tried to kill him again. During pain arc he got a little when jiraiya died he understood what it felt like to lose someone and to hate someone. However his character regressed right after rinne tensei everything was peaches n cream and he chased sasuke...who tried to kill him... AGAIN! after naruto learned kcm he regressed even more and became a bumbling badass idiot when he saw nagato it was like seeing an old friend even though the guy killed your master not long ago... Later naruto lost all his brain cells when he became kid jesus and cant even explain his jutsus atleast vaguely

No, actually Sasuke is the best developed character. He has "negative development" which makes his character more interesting. Unlike all of the other characters, Sasuke actually goes through major changes at various points in the story, whereas most characters are exactly the same as they always were.

Then how is it bad? Is he not developed? Did he not take his experiences and apply them to his current character?

Did he not go from the hated, loser, prankster to the respected shinobi he is now?

Its seems you memorized the show but not the key points U_U I suggest rereading the Manga. That way it really sticks.

Now he is the most respected Ninja in the world, has become one of the most powerful ninja of all time.
