This dude's first response to learning that a group of people were massacred in his village is..
"THE UCHIHA WERE PLOTTING A COUP?"
Not, "innocent people were murdered?"
What a dumbass this kid is, so idealistic. He talks about ending the cycle of hatred, but won't even deal with the different sources of it. And I know Itachifaps are all going to come here and talk about how it had to be done, but think about how pathetic the Konoha government is for allowing a man like Danzo to operate without supervision. The Third Hokage was such a chump that it's pathetic, the only time he tried to fix his mistakes, ended in his death, Useless Hokage.
Look at how they let Orochimaru go.
This kid comes from a village hidden in darkness yet he wants to yell in everyone else's face about how they're wrong and not him? Jesus Christ he's such a terribly written character. He yells about how revenge is wrong but actually HELPS get revenge on Hidan and Kakuzu with team Asuma and talks about how he's going to avenge his Pervy Sage.
This dumbass asked why would Sasuke choose revenge in the face of the knowledge that his family was destroyed by his own home-government. I mean, how fking stewpid do you have to be right? Good lord.
And then this idiot punishes HIS OWN SON for using a power beyond his own during the Chuunin Exams, when he USED THE NINE-TAILS IN HIS OWN FIGHT. Is this some sort of joke from whoever made the Boruto movie?
Am I the only person who has gripes with this dudes character?
@Bold: To be fair, Naruto probably already knew that the Uchihas were massacred. That is why he didn't yell it out. That wasn't new knowledge to him. However, the information about the Uchiha planning a coup was new information to him, which is why he yelled it out.
In general, when someone tells you info that you already know, you tend to not get as excited as when someone tells you something more shocking that you didn't know.
I do agree with you however that Hiruzen and Konoha's government royally screwed up!!! If you have to resort to genocide to deal with a domestic problem, then that is probably the ultimate failure for a government. Your are also right that Hiruzen seriously should not have let Orochimaru go! Over all, Hiruzen dropped the ball time and time again ( not stopping the Uchiha massacre, not stopping the Hyuuga affair which ended in Hizashi's death, letting Orochimaru go, etc...)
About Naruto fighting Kakazu and avenging Jiraiya against Pain: To be fair, Naruto didn't start talking about how revenge was wrong and about ending the chain of hatred until after Pain, meaning that he wasn't actually being hypocritical when he fought Kakazu or during the fight with Pain.
As for the chuunin exams thing: Whether anyone likes it or not, unlike Boruto's kote, Kurama is actually a part of Naruto. Naruto would actually literally die if Kurama was extracted. In essence, Kurama is essentially like a second heart for Naruto. I don't know about you, but for me, external or not, once a source is inside my body and my life literally depends on it, that source is mine! Period! Also, think of it from a practicality stand point: Naruto will
always have Kurama at every waking moment of his life. They are literally inseperable (or else Naruto dies). Even Kurama's life temporarily depends on Naruto's (if Naruto dies then Kurama will die, but he'll respawn later). The same is not true for Boruto's kote though. Boruto may not always have that on, or he may run out of scrolls, or the kote might break, or the enemy might have a kote too, etc... In short, it is not a true and permanent part of Boruto's arsenal (where as Kurama is a true and permanent part of Naruto's arsenal).
