Naruto UNS3 Question

So I was just messing around on google when I discovered that Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 hasn't been released yet in Japan. It actually gets released this Thursday, the 18th (they must be so excited!)

But my questions is, why did it take so long for them to release it over there? Both the game developer(CyberConnect2) and the publisher (Namco Bandai) are based in Japan so I would have figured they'd have gotten the game early. So why did they have to wait an extra month? Will they get something extra?

No I don't think so... they said it was impossible to insert new chars on the game... which is, of course, a lie.

Edo Kage DLC, the actual storyline will follow that of the Manga, and DSM Kabuto.

cc2 held off the release so that the anime could catch up at least a little to the canon but to no avail because perriot studios had made fillers
so basically cc2 wanted to postpone the release so they would spoil the anime but it doesnt matter because there are fillers
