I know you will say there are plenty of threads about these which makes this useless, but I want you guys to hear my idea. So in naruto ultimate ninja storm 3 that just came out on the 8th April 2013. They went way past the storyline out at the moment, which confused things. So I'm guessing if they do a next one it should be different. My idea is a war where we get to pick our own characters with our own chakra natures and fight in a massive multiplayer war with others, join up teams and for bases, we can teach each other jutsu and fight. Make clans and have a list of the best players the war. They can also have a single player campaign but quite short. (If they do it will probably be for ps4, next generation gaming I guess.)

I think they should stick to the manga's storyline. Actually, I like the single player campaign in games more than I like the online multiplayer. I think that games developers nowadays only think about the online part of the game, and they don't care about the campaing, And te gamers do the same thing. So,maybe they could create a mode like the one you described, but they should make the campaing with the manga's plot.

I think it needs very big changes in my opinion , to look different from its predecessor. Thing that Storm 3 clearly failed to do as we got 1 less combo .......... and an L1 R1 move which is cool , i like that but you can't just remove stuff from the game.....
1-EVERYONE gets a new and balanced moveset to be on par with the others. An example of why this is needed is Jiraiya , imagine he is your favourite character and you would like to play with him , he is just too damn slow to keep up with the others so are some other characters. If you try Kisame you will definetly notice that he is faster than it was on generations and he is as good as the others now.
2-Characters that are in the story mode are also playable, there are not "story mode only characters".
3-As many new characters as possible , we fans love it.
4- Legit Awakenings ,not only that kind of blue aura they have . I mean characters like Tsunade have the byakugou still they haven't changed at all .
5-Legit DLC content- Could be new characters , new costumes but legit ones. What do i mean with legit ones? the ones we have seen in the show. For example : Akatsuki cloak Jugo,Karin, Suigetsu ,Kisame without his cloak, Sage mode Naruto with his normal costume etc etc etc
6-New moveset while in awakening mode also a different ultimate jutsu like in Storm 1 . I mean its disappointing when you transform and your moveset doesn't change at all .Imagine you play with Lee and you transform .... your moveset is still the same and that is ridiculous , even PTS Lee moveset changes LOL just LOL.

I agree with alot of the points u brought up..i beat it a few weeks ago and i wish it had more to offer

I'm not much of a gamer, but Ninja Storm 3 looks more badass than Zelda. I would definitely play it. The game play looks awesome, but it takes an alternate route from the manga. The game ends when you knock off Obito's mask. Then Obito ends up fleeing.
However, I wonder about the storyline for Ninja Storm 4. I know the Juubi is going to play a huge role there. However, there won't be Edo Madara...
