Even though I use Long Range characters all of the time, there's always room for improvement. I'm not looking for answers like "SPAM SPAM SPAM".

Obviously setting supports which provide cover in a wide or quick fashion.
An Ideal team of mine is Temari with Danzo as balance and Ao or Torune as guard/atk whichever I am feeling.
But thats if au choose long range :p
Always different and I like to try everything so go for whateer comes to mind. You'll be surprised :)

Don't be afraid to chakra dash towards the enemy. Whenever you can fight up close don't keep running away.Don;t be afraid to take damage, don't sub for every attack if you have to take a combo take it. And block It's very important. Hope I helped!

A good surprise chakra dash and throw is always fun ;)
But also utilize tilts, especially with temari. It can be used out of blocking as a way to make them use a sub bar. Or justdeal obvious damage.

I know that each character has their own way in which they should fight:

Shino: Stay in close-mid range, and watch your defenses.
Tenten: Stay in mid-long range to keep the opponent on the defense, then fight close-range to waste their subs.
Utakata: Stay in close-range, and always have bubbles on the field.

I don't really use Temari, so I don't have anything on her yet.
