Good point, plus there could be special battles where people where awakened at all times, like in the story mode.

right. it may sound retarded, but i doubt that deideira or minato vs curse-seal-2-sasuke or wood-mode-yamato would be unbalanced. you would just have to do the opposite of what they did in nuns1, and give permanent awakening to the weak characters.
