I highly disagree the writing went to total shit after that. There was no resolution to any themes that where previously established in the series and it just went out of focus so much so that after reading the end I was like what the **** did I just read? It's like it was an ending from an entirely different story altogether.

The whole BZ was behind everything from the beggining was just something kishi pulled out of nowhere because he wrote himself into a corner he couldn't figure out how to defeat Madara so that was his way of doing it. I don't consider it canon because wit shouldn't have been. If kishi write better that wouldn't have happend. The manga was fine until the very chapter after Madara cast IT for several reasons. He had to retcon everything and it ruined the original focus of the series.

The series then became about a really long family fued that ****ed up a lot of stuff in the shinobi world. Nice introducing a whole new concept in the last 15 chapters. It's a little late to change the whole focus of the series at that point kishi.
madara did not know the background stories or the situations to resolve the questions left undone. IT did not fail

Kishi even said it himself that he could not find a way for naruto and sassuke to logically beat Madara. It's was pretty much confirmed by him that the BZ being kaguyas will not Madara's and being behind everything from the start was his way retconing the whole series so he could get Madara out of the way. You really think kishi had Kaguyas and BZ planned out from the beginning? That doesn't seem very likely to me I mean he could have but then he wouldn't have made that satement about having trouble finding a way for Naruto and Sasuke to beat madz.
Of course we all know that Kishi is notorious for being honest with the media

BZ was always present lurking in the background keeping tabs even when it didn't make much sense at the time.

Chapter 234:

Why was BZ interested and happy when Sasuke left the village? Why was watching when Hashirama fought with Madara as well?

Chapter 626:

Plus Madara was shown to be apprehensive of an attack from his behind. That was another foreshadowing.

Doesn't look like he wrote himself into corner for that part but planned. Only part which seems to be readjusted was the finale-introduction of Kaguya as a separate entity which was probably added to leave scope for future expansion in the movie or otherwise and some fighting techs had to be expanded. If Kaguya was not there Kishi could still pass of BZ as the tree spirit or his extension in some way. His plant like nature would have still fitted in.

The series went downhill after the pain arc. :|

OT. I honestly don't want a third series but it's possible considering that we don't know where or what the otsutsuki's species is.

He was defeated twice with the same method. His ignorgant lead him to failure. He spits out the treasure and call it useless. He used sage mode just to test then done. Like all uchiha except Itachi, they all underestimate their enemy.
