Actually, he does deserve to become Hokage.
Forgiving a war criminal and the killer of your parents = deserving of being Hokage now? Logic? Where are you?

Anyone who knows Naruto can capitalize on his retardation and fool him into thinking that they've turned over a new leaf and that they're 'good' now, just to stab him in the back.

I wouldn't want a retard like Naruto being the leader of my village.

Didn't know drawings could be irrational & retarted. Thanks for the info.
Desperate now, I see.

Naruto was thanking the "true" Obito, the child who wanted to become Hokage and the one that shared the same ideals as Naruto.

The Obito that killed his parents and caused war, was not the real Obito, it was just a mask he was wearing. This was established in the Manga.

Revenge is easier than forgiveness. Forgiveness itself is a sign of maturity and reason. The world is not so clear-cut that it's black and white, it's filled with many grays and the Manga proved that. Not all villains are evil. Not giving them a chance for redemption and listen to what they have to say is the sign of being childish.

Justice is Blind.

Well, considering the previous Hokages of the village, he seems perfect for the job.

Brah, Obito did exactly Naruto's idea of a Hokage

He walked in front of everyone else, and died for the sake of creating a path for Naruto.

I mean really I'm not trying to bash him, but this chapter pretty much confirmed this..

''Obito wanted to become the hokage.. to me.. He was the coolest guy!!'' - Naruto.

How does Naruto have the guts to even thank Obito after he killed one of his close friends a hour ago.
Seems like Naruto already is over it and thinks that Obito is that super cool guy that never makes any mistakes.
Because the Obito that Naruto was referring to was the same one who killed one of Naruto's closest friends an hour ago.

And it's actually funny because always when such a thing appears in the Manga there is a panel of Sasuke before that being realistic. Like how Sasuke didn't thank Obito.. since there is no need to thank him, there happened too much to thank a villain.. Obito killed 10000+ people all to realize a ''dream''
Obito's 'dream' was to completely destroy reality, and live in a world where everyone would be happy. that dream was motivated by the tragedy of Obito's past, it's obviously not 'just to realize a dream'. The current Obito is not the same one who did all that, he's the one who's put his life on the line many times to save Naruto and Sasuke, succeeded in doing so and has just paid the ultimate price in order to do it again. It's very understandable that Naruto would tell Sasuke to thank Obito and Sakura.

Just like this.. first Sasuke said this.

''The hokages created this situation. I'll become hokage and change the village'' - Sasuke.

Which is true, the hokages were part of the start of this war.. Obito said the same Naruto about Minato.
Naruto replied with this.

''Don't badmouth the hokage just cause you couldn't become one'' - Naruto.

I mean that's just being childish and denying the truth if you ask me..
Read the damn manga. That has absolutely nothing to do with whether the hokage weren't part of the start of the war or not or how responsible they were for any of this.

Stop trying to deceptively spread your biased hate-ridden agenda, you're only deceiving yourself and the choir.

Half the time Naruto doesnt even know whats coming out of his mouth. Hes a babbling.bafoon but the plot is strong
actually that's more of a representation of Naruto bashers. This thread is a perfect example of an OP that's motivated by pure biased against a character and doesn't know and doesn't care what he says in order to push his own agenda.

Who? Minato is the only one I can think of who it about as deluded as Naruto:
- Hashirama - not afraid to kill the man that caused his village trouble
- Tobirama - do I even need to explain why he is realistic; the guy's cold-blooded, ruthless, and straight to the realistic point
- Hiruzen - took his students arms (pretty sh!tty argument, I know, but that's better than what Naruto just did)
- Minato - deluded; even in death, he tried to save his war criminal of a student
- Tsunade - I just can't recall any instances of Tsunade being even remotely as deluded as Naruto

And does Minato really count? I mean he's the father of the #1 retard in the manga after all.
