Actually, showing respect towards Obito despite his past actions, is more a sign of maturity than a sign of childishness. Think about it, its easy to hate, disrespect, even kill those who do you harm. Its harder to forgive. Naruto understands that Obito was no longer a threat rather was an ally, willing to put his life on the line to protect Naruto because he believed in Naruto. There would be no point in bashing Obito. Naruto is perhaps one of the most "emotionally mature/intelligent" characters in the manga. IDK how some fail to realize that.
