For while on NB, I've seen people posting up stuff like this,"Naruto is better than OP!" "You're lying. Oda's genius beats Kishi's own any time!" I made this thread to identify the similarities between both of these great mangas.
1. Naruto is to Luffy
Both of them have dreams of becoming important people one day (Hokage and Pirate King). They also both care for their friends and never give up.
2. Itachi is to "HawkEyes"
They're both discreet and powerful and not too flashy.
3. Kisame is to Arlong
They're both blood thirsty to some extent and have shark like abilities.
4. Akatsuki is to CP9 and/or Blackbeard Pirates
They are/were difficult opposition to the main characters of each series.
5. Kakuzu is to Nami
They'll both do anything for money
6. Jiraiya is to Sanji
These guys will peek at women despite the consequences. The Ultimate perverts.
7. Madara is to Brook
I know what you're thinking, "What the hell do these guys have in common?" I tell you. These guys both planned their coming-back-to-life. Brook to meet a friend as for Madara, you know the shit he's doing.
8. Jiraiya's Death is to Ace's Death
These deaths had dramatic effects to the main characters and fans of these mangas. People still miss them.
9. Orochimaru is to Moria
These guys tried to make the ultimate being. Moria wantd to combine luffy's shadow with the greatest warrior that ever lived and Orochimaru wanted to get an Uchiha body for his own.
10. Naruto and Sasuke relationiship(part 1) is to Zoro and Sanji's relationship.
Both of these pairs have an old rivalry but they still work good together
11. Minato is to Shanks
Both these guys have been known to be very strong though little is known of them. Minato became the 4th Hokage and sealed the Nine-Tails. Shanks transformed from cabin boy to Yonko.
12. Hinata is to Boa Hancock
Both these characters try to get these guys ( Naruto and Luffy) to like them but they hardly pay attention to them. Yet they keep on trying
So if after reading this an your gonna say one manga is better than the other get ready for an all-out flame war with either Naruto or OP fans. If you do, I'm gonna bring some popcorn.
Conclusion
for those who didn't read I'm telling you that you shouldn't say OP is better than Naruto or Naruto is better than OP because they're equally great.
PS: Don't ask me my opinion on Bleach or Fairy Tail, I haven't read it yet.
