The Arrows begin converging on each other as they pass in the center of the two armies, some being destroyed by each others arrows in their collision which results in shrapnel falling down onto the ground in a manner like rain that peirce the floor. The remaining arrows then begin falling down towards each side. Samurai on both sides begin taking action by jumping out of their lines and into the hail of arrows converging them, as they unsheath their swords and begin intercepting some arrows slicing them to peices that can cause no harm. Many samurai in the resulting collision fall victim to the arrows peircing them through their entire bodies sending their lifeless corpses and wounded bodies to the ground. Other samurai wielding naginata have greater success in deflecting the arrows by spinning their naginata's in a circular formation infront of them resulting in make-shift shields that manage to cover a reasonable area.
Line commanders: Raise the Bamboo racks .... NOW !!!
Many soldiers in the lines on both sides raise wooden racks above their heads that reach out to protect themselves and the soldiers to their sides and behind them as the remaining arrows fall down upon the armies some with enough force penetrating the hard wooden racks and instantly killing some solides who collpase and in the result open up some entry points for arrows to wound soldiers hitting them in their legs , arms and stomache. Zenryoku and Monochi both peircing at one another suddenly charge through the hail of arrows as they cut their way through with ease which pushes them out of the remaining arrows and into a clear run to each other. The resulting action giving motivation and also the command to begin and thus causes the center ranks of each army to begin dropping their wooden bamboo racks to the floor and charging behind their leaders and each armies advance appears like a arrow head. They roar with anticipation and hunger for battle. The first to engage being Zenryoku and Monochi as they clash blades sending sparks flying due to the sheer force of the strikes. Then the soldiers begin their clash as lines collide bodies breaking bodies from the sheer force of the collisons, swords slashing through plated armor and slicing through flesh, spears thrusting through chests, blood spewing everywhere from throats being slashed and mutilated limbs. Zenryoku and Monochi still fighting and exhanging equal blows.
Zenryoku: You shall pay for what you've done to my father Monochi
Monochi: He had it coming to him, for attacking my village your father and yourself are merely wrong about thinking i killed your Akahane
Zenryoku: Enough Lies you Bastard ..... Dragon Fang slash
*Dragon Fang Slash is a attack that firstly slashes upwards to break a guard and then slashes again to disable an arm*
Monochi: What a feeble attempt
Monochi merely jumps out the way dragging a enemy samurai infront of him as the first slash splits his back open killing him instantly. Meanwhile the flanks of both armies finally catch up to the center flank as they clash with fury and each sides commanders going head to head, with their soldiers giving them space to fight properly.
Musashi: Only one enemy jeez this is boring dontcha think Keotsu-san
Keotsu: Indeed it is but orders are orders i shall eliminate all enemies of Monochi-sama
Gobi: haha please dont make me laugh, you two maybe legendary but i to, am legendary more so than you
Keotsu: heh so full of yourself, you let your fame .. CLOUD YOUR HEAD !!!
Keotsu lunges at Gobi pushing him back as he watches astonished but regains his posture and flings Keotsu off as he then slashes forwards at him but is blocked by Musashi.
Musashi: Sorry but there is no time for honorable fights, this is war and we shall cause your defeat quickly.
Gobi: tcch ! As if you to can handle me I am to good for the likes of you
Keotsu: There you go again you big headed fool, the likes of you deserve to perish, foolishness has no place on the field of men child
Minamoto Yoshitsune suddenly jumps out of the lines of fighting and slashes Musashi in the left arm.
Musashi: You sneaky rat, il have your head for that !
Gobi: Why are you interfering , this is a good fight, i don't want help!
Yoshitsune: Sorry Gobi-sama but nows not the time for pride, Zenryoku-sama wishes a swift end to this battle.
Two Elite Dragon Guard out of no where rush at Yoshitsune and Gobi but are instantly slayed by them and then both charge Keotsu and Musashi. Meanwhile on the right flank Yukimora is fighting Kamatari the secret instigator of the battle.
Yukimura: Long time no See Kamatari , our last battle was a draw but today you shall lose to me i shall make sure of it you slimy snake.
Kamatari: yeah... we shall see Yukimora...
Yukimura: What's a matter Kamatari , you keep this up and i will kill you without competition. You're a fool for coming to the battlefield with your head in the clouds..
Kamatari: SHUT IT !!!! You Sanada swine.
Yukimura: wow... you're touchy today, making me not want to kill such a weak minded person, but then again i'll take this advantage to rid you once and for all for i have never liked your slithery ways something just aint right about you...
Kamatari continues to deflect attacks whilst thinking in his head about how he's going to deal with Monochi to secure his leadership move. He begins thinking about whether to get him with a long ranged attack by killing him with an arrow or sneaking up to him in the confusion of the battle to stab him in the back.
We then return back to the center battle with Zenryoku and Monochi, where around them Iwaaka and Luiz are fighting Keoto and the elite guard.
Monochi: I see you still wont listen to reason, why don't you get it into your head that i didn't kill your sister someone else has done it to frame me, besides i was with your father not long before you found her.
Zenryoku: Don't lie, besides even if you was with him you can still of had someone kill her in an attempt to draw it away from yourself, but my father and me heard Akahana whisper your name you bastard and i will not allow you to try poison my mind with lies...
Keoto: It's no use trying to reason with Zenryoku Lord Monochi, hes blinded by hatred
Iwaaka and Luiz both attack Keoto at the same time after cutting down some elite guard who attempted to try strike Zenryoku whilst he was busy with Monochi.
Iwaaka: You need to shut up Keoto my master is not blinded, we all know the truth that Monochi was at fault.
Luiz: Iwaaka don't worry about talking with these dogs lets just kill them.
Zenryoku then takes a swing at Monochi's head who then ducks and tries to slash upwards but Zenryoku then flips backwards narrowly missing the blade and then lands on his feet and sweeps Monochi off his legs and stabs at his chest but misses as Monochi rolls out the way. Iwaaka slashes from Keoto's left whilst Luiz strikes from his right however Keoto easily intercepts the pair and pushes them backwards. Monochi still on the floor picks up a lance and thrusts at zenryoku but the lance snaps as Iwaaka crashes through it. Luiz is thrown into an Elite guard but he kills him by stabbing into his back as he lays on the floor. Keoto then trys attacking zenryoku as he is distracted from iwaaka going flying passed him and cuts down his shoulder causing Zenryoku to lean on his knee.
Keoto: Have that for cutting my arm you bastard
Zenryoku: This is nothing you brat, If i was you i'd watch out for your back
Suddenly Keoto feels a slight painful jolt and looks down as blood trickles from his mouth noticing a blade extends through his chest and the light then fades from his eyes as his lifeless body collapses to its knees and flops over to the ground.....
Nearby the hooded fellow rushes across the plain and stops to look at the sky behind him where the sun is setting and notices a red aura in the sky signifying much blood being spilled this day.
????: I pray that my timing wont be to late to save the day..
