Didn't the barrage come first than he did almighty push and the sustained it and launched himself to hit pain with a rasengan? I might be wrong xD

Naruto isn't a strategist.. He has his moments, but a true strategist would be Shikamaru, Itachi, Sasuke etc. Naruto is brute force. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I love seeing things get blown up, every anime needs someone like this. Don't think, just smash.

IF NARUTO was just brute force he would have lost a long time ago. Even his brute force with kyuubi wasnt enough to put neji down, he had to use his head. The only fights where your description is accurate was him against Kabuto, where he got his hand stabbed to get a hold of Kabuto. And the other against Sasuke where he goes all out.

Even Shikamaru would give him an A+ for what he came up with against Pain, Kakuzu, Neji, and now Tobi is also a victim of Konoha's number 1 Hyperactive ninja.

Leaving a clone for a bijuudama to cover Tobi's body after sending a clone into his dimension with Kakashi's help was pure genius.
