Ok, is it just me or did Naruto just turn into the Japanese version of the Matrix?

I mean come on... Everyone is in a cocoon (read incubators) attached to the giant chakra tree (read bioelectricity producing machine), its eating their chakra (read energy) to keep them in a genjutsu (read the matrix) where it's all rainbows and ponies, but there is a small group of people who remain untouched - Team 7 (read rebels in Sion). They are helping the Child of The Prophecy Naruto (read The Chosen One Neo), who has to end this system of illusionary oppression, because his mentor and idol Jiraya (read Morpheus) believed in him and in a Prophecy made to him, which said that Naruto (read Neo) will be the one to save the world.

Also Naruto (Neo) met with a wise old man SO6P (read The Architect) in an illusionary mindscape (read the Matrix) and said man spoke in a complicated manner that resembled a quoted high-class dictionary and the protagonist couldn't understand shit.

I mean... really? :D

You gotta admit there is no such thing as world-spanning illusion and prophecies in either of these :D The number of coincidences is a tad bit higher with the Matrix. But yes, generally it is a heavily truncated plot device, I'm not denying that :D I just found it funny~ lighten up

That's funny. i was just thinking yesterday about how Gai vs Madara was similar to Aizen vs Ichigo. Both got an extreme power up that put them above a god at the cost of losing that power forever. Wound the villain very badly but couldn't kill him. Aizen ended up having to be sealed which will also likely be the case with Madara.

Nice find.
In Matrix, the main character died. Let's see Naruto's end.

Here Obito gives Naruto a speech. I felt like Obito is Agent Smith, Naruto is Neo for a moment.

Agent Smith: Why, Mr. Anderson? Why do you do it? Why get up? Why keep fighting? Do you believe you're fighting for something? For more than your survival? Can you tell me what it is? Do you even know? Is it freedom? Or truth? Perhaps peace? Yes? No? Could it be for love? Illusions, Mr. Anderson. Vagaries of perception. The temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. And all of them as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love. You must be able to see it, Mr. Anderson. You must know it by now. You can't win. It's pointless to keep fighting. Why, Mr. Anderson? Why? Why do you persist?
Neo: Because I choose to.

yeah I agree man!

and its funny because the Matrix and the eye of the moon plan relates to us Humans here on earth. I've been researching UFO's and digging into some leaked government/CIA/NSA/NASA documents . If you look it up on google you will find the truth and you wont think I'm crazy... but - (long story short) the moon is fully colonized with an alien species and there are also huge underground bases here on earth that no one knows about because it has been kept a secret from us for so long...

The alien bases are both joint Human/Alien and they're creating a Human hybrid race in order to save their own. The base on the moon is where they cast frequency waves to keep our race at a low vibration, and low frequencies and vibrations is what creates fear, anger and all the negativity n shiz. The conflict here between countries across the globe is being caused because the Reptilians are able to shape shift and can make us think that they look human. They have infiltrated the top agency's and people in high power positions. There plan is to de-populate the earth so that they can move to the surface and claim what they believe they own.

But there's a sick bunch of different alien species called the 'Galactic Federation'.. sounds like some Sci-Fi movie shit right?.. Well these guys are here to help us break out of these low vibrational frequencies and are helping us ascend beyond our 3D world and into the 5th Dimension.

so yeah, if the Grey's and the Reptilians are broadcasting low vibes down here on earth to be able to control us, it's kinda like the moons eye plan.. The Matrix relates because this world we live in isn't what we've been led to believe.

and like they say in the matrix... Wake up.

I believe you are the last horse crossing the finish line. Kishimoto stated like a year age that he was inspired by the matrix and several other forms of fiction, mythology and folklore. And actually, the Matrix was inspired by several forms of manga and anime.

It not as alike as you believe however. The only major similarities are the people being put into stasis in an illusion and the prophecy bit, which is used in numerous mediums of fiction. Gamamaru is neither as powerful nor near as pivotal to the plot as the oracle. The architect gives revelation, but unlike Hagoromo, is an antagonist. The Juubi is not the one controlling the illusion, Kaguya and Madara are and it is not a Deus ex machina. A deus ex machina is a plot device, not a character archetype. Madara's version appears to follow the original matrix where everyone is happy, whereas the final matrix follows the human condition of conflict. Team seven in the final hour does not compare to the hundred year human rebellion of thousands in Zion. Morpheus does not die unlike Jiraiya, whose death strengthens Naruto's character. There are two main protagonists, not one that will likely fight each other in the end and the team 7 has yet to actually enter the illusionary world, whereas in the matrix, that was the main aspect and they could control themselves.

You are right.

The difference is that they are going to enter in this illusionary world RIGHT NOW.

So it goes a little beyond what Matrix had. We are talking about break the curse of hatred and not just the genjutsu

Naruto is not the Matrix, and the Matrix did not create anything new. There is a truth about humankind, that is engraved in every generation. Despite the attempt of usually those who want to use others to do their evil, that truth is so powerful that it cannot be hidden. It is everywhere irrespective of time, places, and races.

That truth is that humans were created by a supreme God, where corrupt by the evil one, and are continuously struggling to return to the place they were created to be. The truth is that humankind cannot save itself, but only God can deliver them - thus the savior. The savior was promised through prophecies given to human by wise people chosen by God.

This cycle of humanity is everywhere, and in everything. Even right now, any of us would like someone to come an tell him what his life would be. Unfortunately, only God can tell such thing, but none want to think about such God.
