[Spoilers] Naruto The Last: Naruto is fighting against Sasuke's "Revolution"

Seems the spoiler thread for the movie is out. It will segway into a part 3 for the series. This means the manga continues after this arc is over. I think Naruto vs. Sasuke will be epic and set the tone for part 3. Big news here is Madara apparently isn't dead. He revives again somehow in his current body.

So here is my prediction. Madara used Izanagi. The sage tools will seal Hagoromo, killing him permanently in a sense. Naruto will barely be able to defeat by Sasuke. Sasuke and Madara go on to change the world and form a new Akatsuki, one that is abusing the powers of the TB and Rinnegan combined. The Cloud Village is blown away.

3 of the 5 Kage's are killed. Gaara escapes death. Tsunade dies. Ay dies. Ohnoki dies. Sasuke is defeated barely by Naruto, but kills Kakashi and throws the body right at Naruto's feet. Sakura disavows Sasuke at this point. Kakashi stays dead. Madara revives and owns Hagoromo. Madara reforms the Akatsuki with Sasuke and has the stated goal of using the TB to enforce peace. Madara nearly kills Naruto after reviving, and IT is ended by a fluke. Sasuke reveals that his plan all along was never to win, but to stall Naruto while Madara killed the Kage. Tsunade is mercilessly ripped apart and dies for real this time.

The Sage of the Six Paths is killed, and Sasuke fully awakens Shar-Rinnegan. Part 3 is Naruto having to hunt down Sasuke and restore ninjutsu to the world. It's called "The Last" because Naruto is one of the last ninjas. Sasuke apparently succeeds in taking the fruit. Most of humanity is spared, but a lot of people die. Nardo is the last ninja.

Nah To be honest I never truly gave my opinion on this film so I will now. I honestly think "The last naruto" movie is about after the war, and after NarutovsSasuke I believe the film will be about how everyone turned out a few years into the future after Naruto "defeats" Sasuke. I think Sasuke will be dead, my opinion. But your theory is pretty good however I highly doubt Sasuke succeeds in his revolution, if the story falls close to how your saying it, I'll say naruto defeats sasuke but madara and sasuke escape, and the film would be about their final battle against ths shinobi world. I dont think naruto will be the last ninja with ninjutsu against sasuke and madara, that just seems highly unlikely. I just want this manga to be over with and for naruto to save the world. All in all, I say rhis movie will be a happy mooded canon film, showing the peace established by naruto

Kishimoto just dropped a huge bomb on us in 692. He shows us here that the way Sasuke sees the world is fundamentally different than the way Naruto sees it. Sauce isn't going to get TNJ'd. He isn't willing to back down. He has the TB owned atm and is fully committed to the idea of killing the Go-kage. Even if Naruto wins, Sasuke isn't backing down.

Also Naruto has the stated goal to not kill Sasuke, so that sets an inherent conflict that the story cannot resolve in 8 chapters. The movie has a confirmed time skip. Frankly that screams part 3 to me. Considering part 2 happened after Nardo v. Sauce Part #1... Well, it frankly makes a lot of damn sense to me.

Kishimoto says the movie will bring the story into its final phase. That doesn't mean a Part 3. Also there is no mention of Madara reviving. The line says the movie is "continuing the story behind Naruto's search for Sasuke, his childhood bestfriend, and Uchiha clan's notorius Akatsuki member, Madara."

Madara wasn't an Akatsuki member, Tobi was while pretending to be Madara. That line is just saying the movie will continue the story after Shippuden ends, confirming the movie is canon. (Shippuden's story was based around Naruto chasing Sasuke and the fake "Madara" hunting the Tailed Beasts with the Akatsuki")

Source on that image? All I see is a sketch of Sasuke for the movie, which doesn't confirm Sasuke wins or Kakashi dies, it just shows Naruto won't kill Sasuke which was already obvious from the beginning.

Well let's look at it this way. If Nardo wins, why would he be "searching for Sasuke"? Why would Madara be part of a new Akatsuki? I mean it sounds like Nardo badly injures Sasuke or vice versa. Hell maybe Nardo wins. Kakashi isn't depicted, so I suspect he's dead. That's totally my theory-mongering.

Sasuke is probably retrieved by Madara and taken to train. Hell I'll fully admit it's possible Sasuke will lose, but either way he isn't going to die.
